Can the C.J. Miles experiment please end?

Question is, can CJ back this up with another good game against Sacramento or does he disappear for another 4 games? The problem with (and my criticism of) Miles isn't that he doesn't have the talent. It's that he is never consistent. He'll follow up a good or great game with a couple of 1-7, 2-10 stinkers. To be a decent starter or 6th man, CJ needs to be in the 44% range (he's at 39% now). He's raised his 3-pt FG's to 36%. That's the minimum point where he needs to be.

Can't really argue with this sentiment. Last nights game was great and all, but Smiles needs to go from being a streaky shooter to a consistent member of the Jazz. I only hope that he can and will succeed.

While the pretenders are bragging about Clanks greatest career night did anyone notice the 5 turn overs? Every time he put the ball on the floor they would pick him because Mathews probably told them he can't dribble.
He also dove on the floor for loose balls. Credit him for that.

You guys take that **** for granted. The kid won the game for us, single handedly... give him some ****ing credit

And Korver is making 56% of his Threes. Good thing the Jazz unloaded him.

1) Jazz did not "unload" him
2) If they had known Matthews was not coming back, I am quite sure they would have kept KK

With Matthews in a Jazz uni at MLE type dollars, signing Korver for the same amount wouldn't work.

I even get lucky in golf sometimes. Wouldn't call myself great. But if you think shooting threes in the the 30s makes Clank the Clown a great 3 point shoot, then I guess I'm a great golfer. Korver shot 56% from three for the season. That's a great 3 point shooter. When the clown shoots 0 for 7 you will still be pretending he's a "great 3 point shooter."

When Korver shoots 1-3, 0-1, 1-5, 1-5, 0-1, 2-5 from three will you still be pretending that Korver is better than CJ at anything besides his haircut ...and this:

I think tonight I'll start a thread for every shot CJ takes so we can really get to the bottom of this.

I agree, do it. A new thread for every shot he takes. Plus, maybe a thread for every pass he makes, whether good or bad. Merge all threads we make for every time he smiles though.

What about turn overs and every time Clank the Clown lets someone have a layup on him and frowns. Don't forget the frowns and faces.

Can I nominate this for dumbest post of the year award? You've given plenty, but this is over the cliff edge stupid.
I'm going with his repeated claim that the Jazz traded Mathews.

CJ is far from perfect but is performing like a 3mil player in the NBA does, if he was consistent he wouldn't be a bench/borderline starter type plaer, he'd be a unquestioned starter and making at least what Millsap does (since I'm sure rain forgot that OKC offered him a contract and the Jazz matched). Last game his TO's where really the only bad thing he did, his D and rebounding was serviceable and obviously his offense was outstanding.

While i agree he needs consistency it would help if they had anybody else on the bench that could lend a hand at some point. Right now Cj is the only scorer off of the bench.

Was just going to post this, thanks for doing so.

You can talk about how many shots he has missed, his inconsistencies, whatever you will. But this right here speaks volumes. I think he has helped a lot of our 4th quarter defensive stops.

I've said it repeatedly and the haters still can not come up with a counter to it. But CJ has been in during every one of our runs to come back and win these games they are behind in. Some of them he has shot like crap but it can't be pure luck that he's the only player in for every single one of them.
