As someone (Bordy) here recently (and eloquently) said, "things here are in constant change but remain the same."

(or something like that)

Very true. It's time for a change. For the board and, more importantly to me, for me. Mock me if you want, but this is not a retirement speech, I'll still be around.

I'm ready for the next (or a past, re-emerge) personality to come forth and I'll do my part to pave the way.

Truth is, I quit alcohol about 10 days ago, got re-acclimated with my Savior, and have been eating healthy and working out... and I crave that more than JF .. at least in this 'season.'

Love you guys and I'll peep here and there. Would love someone to keep a running tally of "cannot-miss-posts".. but that's asking a lot.

Sounds like we have the same new year's resolution. My dopamine levels have gotten so low and my receptors so trashed that I had to make a change. It's amazing how quickly focusing on dopamine through diet and exercise can turn things around. As a side bonus for the staring ladies, I bet I'll shed 5-8% of my weight in the first month alone, too.

I'm also ready for the next wave of mass posters to take root.

So would you give up on God in order to save you kids from death?
Lets say some terrorist dude holds a gun to you daughters head and asks you to spit on a Bible/Quran/Book of Mormon or whatever religion symbol you are following in order to save her - what would be your choice?

My faith mentions that it is perfectly fine to lie about your faith if the lives of you or your family are at stake. Get educated.
 
Sounds tough. Getting fit and eating broccoli, good stuff. It may be rough, but won't be enough cuz PKM is up to snuff.

thanks, that's interesting. I guess prophet Mohammed learned well from 10 commandments and corrected 2 of them to make it more reasonable.

history is full of examples when kids died because of their parents putting their religious beliefs above science/medicine ( see numerous Jehova's witnesses who died refusing blood transfusions for example). How do we know if his is non-harming?
