What's new

Jazz vs Denver! Tonight 7pm.

So now I gotta do the grunt work for you? You're the one that made the claim that the odds are astronomical to find someone of Hayward's caliber (or even a rotational player) in the 20+ range in the draft, why don't you do some research and back up your claim and I'll gladly tear it apart. btw, I also forgot to mention Chandler Parsons...

Meh I'd take Hayward any day over Parsons. Hayward is a way better play maker then him and has been asked to be the go to guy. Also Parsons is the 4th, maybe 3rd option on a good team, If Hayward was on the Rockets they would be ten times better.

So our team will just always be the team that takes big contracts, we'll always keep the flexibility and never get anywhere.
I think you would agree that Gordon Hayward is a cornerstone piece towards building the Jazz into a contender, yes? Do you remember how we even got the pick that landed us Hayward? We used our cap space to take on Tom Gugliotta large contract and along with it came the Knicks 1st round pick (and also a 2nd round pick) for our troubles...Amazing how this stuff works huh...

The real problem of this team is not if keep Hayward or not, the real problem is if Corbin get the extension! DL has speculated too much!

Euroleague is really athletic.

Most games in Euroleague are entertaining and played with intensity.

In Nba you have to wait the 4th quarters to see some defense and intensity, or the playoffs!

Better I don't speak about the fans and the atmosphere in the arenas.

Watching the replay....boler asks a question " who is better than alec going to the rim in the west right now?" Harpring is like SMD

So what's your point bro? Me thinks you like big eneses and will never give Favors his due. Enes will never be as good as Favors will be.
Diamond is a jockrider for sure but you needn't diss a player like Kanter.
He has been producing lately.
and he will be as good as Favors -at worst-.

Not dissing...stating my opinion which is Kanter will never be as good as Favors. No reason for the nation of Turkey to get all up in arms about it. Just the way it is.

We are all entitled to our opinions bro.
I just wanted there to reiterate that EK could be sthg. special.
Why do I think that?
EK is not your typical Euro bball player. He was "someone" in European bball scenes while playing on cadets level, amassing many personal honours and trophies.
He came to US and kept on delivering. What held him back was stupid NCAA rules.
Thus far, his NBA odyssey is not bad at all.
I think he will be way way better than you give him credit for.
As I said, he is not your typical weak-kneed Euro.
He has strength and bball-finess simultaneously, a rarity nowadays if you ask me!
He is a very good rebounder just like Favors but equipped with much better offensive arsenal.
Me believes he > Favors (by a small margin)

The Advanced Stats for this game:

- Alec was amazing! The raw numbers as well as the advanced stats speak for themselves.
- Hate to see Gordon sit out b2b games.
- Treys USG% was a actually a little low for my taste but it is ok I guess, escpecialy when Alec is having such a great game but nonetheless he was efficient and shared the ball.
- Loved to see his REB% going up again and finay an AST for one of the big fellows.
- Enes looked good to me during the game but his negative ORtg overweight his not that bad DRtg, still a negative Faktor in the game.
- Props to RJ for the high eFG% once again, and I love the low USG% from him and Marv.

FYI Enes and Derrick were on the court together for a good 9 MIN but the team did really bad during this time(OffRtg: 103.3, DefRtg: 148.2, NetRtg: -44.8). Really hope that they will do better next time.

* OffRtg, DefRtg and NetRtg: The number of points scored/allowed per 100 possessions by a team. For a player, it is the number of points per 100 possessions that the team scores/allows while that individual player is on the court. (From nba.com)
** ORtg and DRtg: For players it is points produced/allowed per 100 posessions (from basketball-reference.com)

where did u get these stats / screenshot bro??

After watching the full highlights of Alec on YouTube, the craziest thing is, if he were Wade, Durant, etc he would've had 6-8 more points than he did from the no-calls that would've been called for the superstars

Let me guess...you are a huge fan of Kanters "spectacular" oafish game?

Over the last five game there has been nothing "oafish" in Kanter's game. He has been beasting. Not only has he been scoring but more importantly he has been playing great defense. He is faster on the help and he is not stepping out too far on the screens he is rotating. If he keeps improving (and I think he will since he is only 21 and has been given limited time on the court) he could easily challenge favors as the best big on the team.
