twas impressive..... but I can recall at least 5 of them that just fell into his lap......... still impressive
Yeah, I haven't watched the game yet - but will soon. It seems like Embiid sort of outshined him based on what I'm reading on the Internets.
embiid was spectacular...... but quietly somehow. Wiggins was kinda same old same old imo..... Solid but unspectacular.
Seems like wiggins is solid in almost every game but never has that breakout 40 point game I keep waiting and hoping for.
Lots of people have soured on this draft recently but I just see it as an even deeper draft than I though it was.... I thought it was wiggins, parker and randle or bust, but I think maybe someone at #5 or 6 might just be as good
jazz gotta stay in that top 5 range but I don't think they can
Defensive rotations are a strength. He covers ground on defense as well as Favors does. That's why having both on the floor together would give every other player an insurance policy.
Burke, Hayward/Burks, a 3D guy, Favors and Embiid would be a serious team.
I also think Embiid could become a 20-point scorer and a go-to post scorer, who can pass from the low block.
I think Wiggins got tired of people saying that he wasn't that special. I was hearing a of comments like. He's not as good as Lebron or Durant. Basically so he's not a game changer. Wiggins is a future All-Star. So what if he's not Lebron or Kobe. I think he'll end up a lot closer than some think he'll be.
Said this in another thread, but fo real...PKM was calling attention to emblid and Exum a few years ago.
We need a top 8 pick. I think you can almost guarantee an all star in that range. a little dicey the next 4 and then some nice role players through most of the 1st round.
Here is my call
3 superstars
8 All stars
13 starters
( superstars and all stars factored into the starters)
Didn't you hear, this draft is overrated.
