Another school shooting...

Some people won't like my "religious" response or whatever but it really isn't religious. It plain and simple to me. Its breakdown of family relationships. Constant divorce, parental fighting, just plain and simple lazy and ****ty parents.

You will be hard pressed to find a violent child that comes from a loving family with two supportive parents.

Just want to say that i came from the best family situation imaginable and i was a very violent teenager (anger management at 19 years old helped alot) and constantly in trouble/breaking laws.

Sometimes there is nothing a parent can do.
Though i agree that a good family situation is more likely to raise a good kid than a bad family situation.

I do know a guy whos dad was dealing cocaine and meth when he was a young teen and the dad would have his 14 year old son drive him around while the dad sold drugs.... and the kid turned out really good

I do believe these are probably more often exceptions than the norm however

Good guys don't shoot innocent people. Smh

Well, see, that's exactly the catch. Adam Lanza was a good guy until the very moment he pulled the trigger and blew his mom's brains out. Gun rights people maintain that good guys are to stop the bad guys when they go on rampage. However this guy was a former police officer, a captain. Started the SWAT team at his department and was director of security for Busch Gardens. Then he goes to the movies and kills a guy over texting. He WAS a good guy until he pulled that damn trigger

A dumbass pulling his gun out during a fight is one thing, a planned out mass shooting involving children is something entirely separate.

That is actually the very definition of the homes that the Columbine shooters came from.

Lol how dumb are you? Your source is that "the neighbor said they "seemed like a nice family". Nobody has any idea what goes on in the walls of a home.

I'm so dumb that I actually refuted your post in about 15 seconds. I'm so dumb that I actually take the time to respond to your stupidity rather than just ignore it for the worthless dribble it is. I'm so dumb, I didn't marry someone of the Tribe so I could score all that free money.

So, so, so dumb.

Ok. Ok. It's cool man. It's cool. We all think you're great. It's alright man. Don't do anything crazy. We're all friends here. Seriously man, it's cool.

lol, ur so dumb! That's what is reported in the MSM! Just because neighbors and church leaders say it doesn't mean it is true!! LOL, SO DUMB!

I think there is likely a tipping point somewhere in there, between children of privilege with nothing else to do but scarf anti-depressants and blow up their school (Columbine) and kids from broken homes that have nothing left to live for. Somewhere in the middle it seems might be the sweet spot where most people turn out just alright and don't go on violent rampages, but either side of the spectrum and they are a ticking timebomb.

Tunabreath, you didn't refute my post at all. All you posted is that the neighbor from their Apartment complex said they seemed like a nice family.

IIt's not like there weren't bullies 20 years ago or 50, heck I figure as long as the earth has had at least two men on it there has probably been a bully of sorts.

Are you under the impression there were no school shootings 20, or 50 years ago?

Lol ok...... you know their families were sued and had to pay judgements to the other families right?

Also those teens had been already arrested for burgalary, they were on anti-depressents. On their free time they were making bombs, getting illegal guns and target praciting. They also made videos and logged all there plans about the mass shooting.

These parents were not involved in these young mens lives. They had no idea what was going on. And that is just ****ty parenting. Plain and simple.

Alright, if we're not allowed to take an outsider's opinion on how a family behaves, then how exactly is it supposed to be determined? Oh, you mean it can't? Great job, B'Clown.

I would take an opinion from a close relative or even a sibling that lived in the home. But a friggin neighbor? Give me a break.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_school_shootings_in_the_United_States

Earliest reported school shooting was in the 1700's. But already the 2010's is shaping up the be the heaviest decade of school shootings in America's history, and we are not half way through yet.

Apparently, cable news generally and CNN specifically really started taking off in 1991. That's also when we start to see a big increase in the number of recorded attacks. Between more reporting and just having more people, I'm not sure that the incidence of school shootings is increasing per capita.
