What's new

Julius Randle is a MAN amongst boys..

Ya he should have just let the opponents get those rebounds.

....your missing the whole point! Of course, Boozer needed to grab those missed free throws.....but his rebound average was obscured or "padded" by 3 or 4 per game, by grabbing the easiest of rebounds, the "missed free throw".

Thriller is way off about randles box out abilities based off one play when he was trying to get out to an open man on the 3 pt line and the oppenent slipped in behind him

Relax. My comment was more tongue and cheek than anything else. It was more of a jab at our own team.

Assuming the Jazz land in the top 3, IMO they HAVE to take BPA as opposed to need. If Randal is the guy, then so be it. However, we're not going to be able to keep Randle, Favors, and Kanter long term. Not only will it not work financially, it will put us right back into the problem of trying to play Sap, Big Al, and Favors alongside each other.

IMO, if Utah drafts Randle, Kanter is the one that becomes expendable.

I'd ask you what the crap you were talking about, but there is no point.

Every NBA post player "pads" their stats by grabbing rebounds off of missed free throw. Your point is either stupid, or sarcastic.
A post player that does not rebound after missed free throws will be out of the league faster than you can say hopper.

So he should just let the other guys get the rebounds? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Only get the rebounds "worth" getting because you have to work for them. Just let those easy ones go...

...again, you missing the point! This thread and it's subsequent theme dealt with which player could help the Jazz the most. Then we morphed into who were "great" rebounders and Boozer's name came up. Although Boozer was a good, adequate rebounder, he was not really anything out of the ordinary for a power forward. He was "middle of the pack" type guy. Why? Because he was basically "soft" and lacked a key fundamental to be a great rebounder....the "know how" and DESIRE to box out! I may need some help from "Thriller" on this to get the point across!!!

Double doubles night in night out. Solid player. But might lack the physicality on NBA level.

You check out Andrew and Randle looks better on sheet.

I always believe in hardwork and commitment for success. So numbers do not bring these guys down a bit. Not even Wiggins.

Good info to see those 3 guys numbers side by side
Repped

Remember that Jordan was likely playing against a few more elite player because players stayed longer.

I was talking about the info comparing randle jabari and wiggins.

Idgaf about was jordan did 30 years ago

Is Randle a PF in the NBA or can we shift him to the 3? Can Randle defend SFs in the NBA?

Depends on how much he is willing to improve. He has the tools and the shed for it. Just needs to work on getting there. Right now, no I don't think he can do it too efficiently. That's why either he bulks up for stronger dudes, or he skillz up for cutters and arc shooters 'n such.
