Lindsey better not be waiting for "the right offer" to unload jeffy or marv.

Trade em for whateva
#tradefortrash

I think it comes down to only accepting expiring deals in return. DL (and KOC before him) have worked too hard to put the team back in solid financial position. I'm guessing Lindsey wants to have room this offseason to not only re-sign Hayward, but also to go after a starting-caliber veteran (either a SF or PF, depending on who we draft). Add a couple of starters (with the lottery pick and via free agency), a solid back-up with the GS pick and bring in Neto to upgrade the point behind Burke. That's a HUGE improvement and shold put the Jazz in the middle of the playoff pack in the WC.

Yup. I believe he is doing just that unfortunately.

There is no way yoi can convince me that we can't get find someone to take Marv off our hands immediately. Any pick we could possibly get for him isn't worth holding out for and risking the tank. Jefferson, I'll give him more of a pass for. Way harder to find a landing spot for that *** hole.

Again, moving Marv and Jefferson is really going to have minimal impact on the tank. Make sure that you get something back or at the very least don't take back something worse (salary cap wise.) Getting rid of them at any price is just idiotic. Seriously if you want to tank like many on here want to tank you HAVE to play Lucas 30 minutes a night. That is the only way. To think that Jefferson has anything to do with it is self-deluding foolishness and means you don't have the stomach to do what must be done. In order to tank, Burke has to sit behind Lucas.

Who do you replace Marv and Jefferson's minutes with? Evans is ok, but Gobert and Clark cost the team some production, so I think the tank will be a lot better off without Marv and R Jeff.

There is hope for the GS game. Favors, Jefferson (sore right hip) and Burke (both with gastric distress) are all game time decisions.

Read off Bleacher Report but it looks like it is from the Jazz twitter.

I'd rather beat GS TBH.

I'm still hopeful that we can stay below the Kings and Lakers when it's said and done, but we may need to hold guys out.

Emotionally I agree with you. I want to stick it to the Lakers. But logically our pick has more value than GS. SO I want the Jazz to lose and help out getting a good pick.

League owes us for the tanking GS did. If the W's miss the playoffs, Silver should make sure the pick becomes top-3.

I'd be OK with the Lakers getting the #2 pick if the Ws miss the playoffs and that and the Utah picks get the #s 1 & 3.

Sweet the Suns beat the Pacers, they are now 1 game ahead of the warriors.

Now just need to hope for hot streaks by teams like Memphis, Minnesota and Dallas and an injury to Curry or a couple of other key guys. A very longshot, indeed. And GS is already out to a lead of 10+ on the Clippers tonight.
