Looking at the final score, probably both. I would be surprised if any NFL team is naturally 35 points better than any other NFL team, week-in and week-out.

Agreed, just pointing out it's outrageous to say your team laid an egg when they played a vastly superior team.

If they play 10 times, seahawks win 8. Seahawks defense is perfectly built to beat the Bronos.

Bronos were a good team and had a great season, just matched up in the SB with the worst team possible for them.

The first time I heard the announcers say, "Peyton Manning told us he is not going to throw at Richard Sherman" that was my thought too. If that's the case, they were playing scared. He did actually throw at him a few times, but still, if you're Mr. 5000 yard MVP and that's even floating in your brain....something's wrong to me.

Also i remember broncos running the ball on 3rd and 10 multiple times and punting when they should have been going for it on 4th down.

I thought they were playing like they were scared

They ran one draw play on 3rd and long, a play that either comes off as "genius" or "moronic" depending on whether or not it works. I'll trust that the guy getting paid millions of dollars to decide these things thought it was a play that would give the bronos a better chance to win and wasn't just scared of winning or something like that.

I dont remember a time they should've gone for it on 4th down and didnt. Remember, they were very aggressive in going for it on 4th down right before half instead of settling for a FG.

You are probably thinking of the draw on 3rd and VERY long when they had to get like 20 yards. In that case it makes sense cause they are thinking about field position.

I remember a 3rd and 10 and a 3rd and 9 when i thought they should pass but they ran.

I had a party at my house and i remember alot of comments from different people talking about how the broncos seemed to be playing too conservative.

Nope, talking about them running a draw on 3rd and about 10. You sure they ran one twice on 3rd and 10'ish? Running one on 3rd and 20 is obviously to be expected.

My whole point is its absolutely retarded to blame a loss on a team "playing scared" when they got blown off the field by a team that is obviously superior. Playing scared can cost you a game where you match up evenly, but if you have eyeballs you can see that the two teams werent even. The Seahawks D was off the charts last night.

I think the broncos were the inferior team AND they played scared.
Doesnt have to be one or the other imo

Hell i think they played scared BECAUSE they were the inferior team

I do not think they are the inferior team but they did play like they were scared. Idiots.

Basing who is a better team of one game is idiotic. Jazz beat the Thunder this year. Jazz are the better team!!!!!

You are truly the biggest homer I have ever encountered. Dunno why im surprised by the stuff Youre saying, but I am. Im a slow learner I guess.

Heh, that's crazy. Just don't like it all that much?

Ridiculous. Whenever I say things like this I get mocked and ridiculed. Football is teh gayz0rz.

Seattle's D is exceptionally good but the Broncos were not out matched. They just laid a giant egg.

True.

Nope. Inferior team.

More true.

Even more true.

Jazz > Thunder

It's that extra chromosome, tbh.

So what were the betting odds on the game. UGLI's talking like it was obvious going in that the Seahawks were vastly superior and to think otherwise is pure homerism. I don't really know, but I heard a lot of talk that people thought it'd be a close game.

No I'm saying that after watching the game it's obvious homerism to say that the bronos only lost because they "played scared" or something. They were outmatched plain and simple. This would be like me claiming the Utes played scared when they got throttled by TCU in 2010 when both teams were ranked in the top 10.

Bronos were favored before the game, and I did think the Seahawks would win, but not even enough to make a bet, so I obviously thought it was a toss up. After watching the game, I think it's clear that the Seahawks are a better team and match up incredibly well against the bronos. Add in some bone headed plays and you have a blowout.

I'm not saying the Seahawks are superior just because of the final score, I'm saying it from watching the game and seeing that the two teams aren't on the same level, something we didn't really know since the teams hadn't played each other this year.

The Seahawks managed to open up Denvers line like a can opener and play very tough against the routes. Not only did the Seahawks earn the win but Malcolm Smith was a very deserving MVP.

what a crock. you're premise that Seattle is that much better is based off one game. it's a dumb premise and you know it. but since I disagree it must be the homer in me.

Franklin (?) think it was him, was clearly over matched.

So again you're basing it off one game. got it.
