14th Tank Platoon

As much as I want to get rid of the 2017 Warriors pick.

The difference between burks and the 2017 pick could be huge. That 2017 pick could very well be number 1 in a draft that might be better than this years draft. Jazz are never trading that pick.

They probably won't trade burks either though. But the 2017 pick is more valuable than burks is to this team. Particularly because the 2017 pick should be a good contributing player on a rookie contract when our current guys all look to get paid.

Exactly. There will be turnover. Pick 4 or maybe 5 main guys and that's all Utah will be able to keep from the core rotation. The other 3-4 will likely change as contracts mature and the Jazz are forced to decide whether to re-up or trade the player away. I don't buy into the "2017 draft should be epic" craze. That is predicting how a young HS player now will do after 1 yr of college. There are good years and bad. And I don't hold out hope for GS to suddenly become a terrible team and give us a top pick. But the more assets we have, the better.

watching the GSW bobcats game right now. Warriors are seriously 1 curry injury away from being quite a bad team.

Well, Lakers lost. But TWolves now back to .500. Have to hope for a Curry injury and for the Grizz or Wolves to grab the 8th seed ahead of the Warriors.

we just have to keep working our selves into the bottom 3.

#2 worst would be ideal b/c catching the sucks is nearly impossible at this point. Lets hope gorchuck brickward keeps showing up.

As for the warriors I really think they are one injury away from catastrophe, and yes that injury is curry.

Either way they are not looking so good right now. Lets hope the trashcats can hang on and win this.

Jefferson is my new favorite player: 30/13 against the team I hate the most (yes, even more than the Lakers now).
Have to admit I was a bit worried when Speights hit that 3 at the end of the 3rd. Thought that would get the W's going.

Top-5 pick plus the #14 would be very, very nice.
Because of the terrible playoff teams in the EC, it's such a swing: W's get the 8th seed, we likely get the #21 pic. W's just miss, we end up at #14. Go Memphis!

Whoa!

Who was that one dude dude who was calling people crazy for thinking the Warriors could miss the playoffs?

on the app. square bizness.

warriors are a high % jump shot team. If their jumpshot falls they can lose to anybody.

Just look at steph. 1/7 from 3 point land or something. If he isn't hitting his 3's they are quite a ****ty team, and their bench is atrocious.

we should hire a mercenary on a 10 day contract to go underneath curry every time he shoots. Those ankles hold a key to the Jazz's future.

I know it wasn't me. I did think they were susceptible to losing if injuries hit after clearing their bench to make cap room for Iguodala. Through early January, they had a road-heavy schedule. I really though the W's would make a move up the standings the last couple of weeks. Despite playing 8 of their last 11 at home, they've gone 5-6. Perhaps some of their players like Klay are getting tired legs. Thompson and Curry both average 38 mins/per, with Lee at 34. Hopefully their slump continues.

Same very tank race important games tonight:

LAL @ CLE
DET @ ORL
BOS @ PHI
TOR @ SAC
DAL @ MEM
MIL @ DEN

Highlighted who I want to win and either way in the DAL/MEM, LAL/CLE and BOS/PHI games the Jazz win.
