Kanter does not only have off-games (and isn't a starter), he makes mistake upon blunder upon screwup and is a mental sissy this year. He has stalled out.

I absolutely agree on this one, Kanter has to be harder mentally. He has to do the same BIG-AL did when he played for us. Everytime AL recognized that his minutes on the court were reduced only for ONE MINUTE by Corbin after a game, he stayed as the last player infront of the locker room and he was waiting for Corbin coming out, with a disastrous look in his face. He grapped Corbins shoulder from behind and educated him about BIG-AL and BIG-AL´s guaranteed minutes on the court, who are unchangeable and untouchable.

Why nobody talking about Burke and Burks defensive shortcomings? Because they contribute on offense? The same is doing Kanter but he is harshly criticized.

Kanter doesn't play active defense every night but it does not seem to me that other players of team do it with consistency. They won't play the playoffs, so what is their motivation to play defense every game? To save Corbin? Contract year?

Corbin will be evaluated at the end of the year taking into account the team's defense. So Kanter is clearly the scapegoat because Corbin thinks only to save his a**.

Anyway Corbin is free to take his decisions but he should not legitimate his power only with one player and a real coach should be fair will all players.

I believe that the young players are fed up with Corbin too, it would be licit if they want another coach next year.

Most likely Kanter will decide to not continue with Jazz and not the contrary.

If he will succeed with another team then I would like to hear your opinions. (Franklin & Co.)

And your opinion is not partial? Arroyo part deux. Blinded by nationalities, but all i see is basketball and bright lights. Kanter is too weak for both.

U are the biggest (actually only) Kanter jockrider resident I have seen here on Jazzfanz.
You needn't do that to defend EK when/if that is necessary.
Kanter deserved and got serious criticism from other Turkish forum members and this is the ideal modus operandi.

Are you sure the criticism from other Turkish members has nothing to do with his refusal to play for the Turkish NT in Eurobasket 2013? You know Turkish are very sensitive in this kind of subjects.

I have admitted different times he was struggling some weeks ago but this doesn't change the fact that he is being treated unfairly by Corbin. For me he is not the scapegoat of the disappointing Jazz season. I don't know what people were expecting from him, despite not having an extraordinary season he is putting decent numbes on offense. They want him to be a good defensive player? We have already Favors for that.

I repeat that I'm not Turkish.

Most coaches make a huge difference between mental versus physical mistakes and not being mentally prepared. Enes is falling short far to often on the mental part.

why the relevance of his NT beef? Character defines individuals.
Kanter needs to put on the best character he can, so that he can be a better player.
One who does not respond to NT invitations is making a huge mistake and Kanter needed that playing tine.
so, all in all twas a bone-headed decision.
Ilike Kanter, he IS by far the best player (i mean the player with the highest ceiling) of this Jazz roster,
but he has to concentrate, shut up and deliver!

I don't know the reason why he has declined the invitation but I guess he was recovering from the shoulder injury.

Anyway all this rage against him, just for having refused to play an Eurobasket Championship, is exaggerated.

He will have other thousand opportunities to play with the National Team.
