Good. More competition is better for us.
It has to be noted that google fiber is not "coming" to SLC. They will start studies and work with the city to see if it is feasible. It's not even "intention to build", its "intention to look into potentially building it sometime in the future". If they bring it to my street i am willing to go as far as paying myself to dig up my lawn and run it from the street to the house though...
I don't get it. I have the regular Century Link crap that everyone else has and there is nothing that my slow-*** computer can't do with that internet speed. I don't buffer Netflix, I can stream games, etc. with no problems.

It's a good question and one that Google themselves doesn't even have an answer for right now. Being prepared for the unknowable Internet future was basically their answer to that question at the press conferences here.
