In Which the Utah Jazz tango with the Cleveland Cavaliers Fri, Feb 28 5:30 MT

That's our offense. Ill advised 3 pt shots and forced midrange jumpers. No one other than burks even dares take it to the rim. And our 6 foot SG playing PG never looks to get the ball into the post. In his defense, neither do Andrei, Marvin, and Rich
Coaching?

Oh, I'm sorry. Corbin can't be held accountable since he isn't on the floor. It's never his fault what the players do.

We have 20 assists as a team.

Kyrie has 12.

Our offense sucks so bad. It starts with JR Burke. Gotta start being a pg. Stop chucking

Stockton must puke when he watches his position played so selfishly.

Major disappointment, the Morgan Jewlers play of the Game should have the security dudes takedown of the wandering drunk guy.

Freak, I just googled "fan on court cavs game". And dang there were a lot of hits, and none of them were tonight's. What are they drinking in Cleveland?

Well when you turn your PG into a spot up shooter and only give him the ball after the play breaks down with only enough time to shoot what do you expect. You want Trey to be a better facilitator then the coach should let him initiated the offense.

The Cavs won this game because they have an All-Star player!

The Jazz don't have an All-Star player that can win a game alone when the rest of the team is struggling!

Treys lack of D concerns me as well but to hold him accountable for the offense is just flat out stupid. Seriously watch the games! He isn't the one who is running the offense. It is Gordon. And that's not Treys fault. It is Corbins. Trey would be the better playmaker and he isn't doing a bad job at this at all for an rookie PG but if you don't want him to do his job than it is not his fault!

Burke lack of speed and quickness on defense is a big concern...in addition he doesn't even hustle.

This is a much bigger issue than speed and quickness. I saw it at Michigan just figured he was so tired from carrying the team. It appears he just doesn't want to put the energy into that end of the court. I've seen some really bad defenders turn around and be solid defenders after they mature and understand how important defense is at this level.

So is word is out in the nba, run back on Burke and Hayward?

20 apg is our average, so nothing out of the norm. We're third to last in assists (interestingly, phoenix is dead last with 19 a game). It should be noted that we play at the third slowest pace in the league as well, so it's not quite as bad as it looks at first glance. Looking at AST% we are 21st in the league.

When Hayward was out, Burke was more of a playmaker and averaged almost 8 APG, but when Hayward is in he takes over most of the playmaking and Burke is mostly a jumpshooter. Hayward is a good playmaker so it's not terrible, but I'd really like to see Burke play more without Hayward on the floor. I know it's crazy, but I wouldn't mind Trey coming off the bench and being forced to run the second unit, just from a development point of view.

what he said.

basically we cant evaluate brukes playmaking skills
because we need an offensive system in which a pointguard his playmaking abilty is used.

Look at everyone bitching because we lost. Unbelievable.

I'm not a Jazz fan. However winning and losing really to me isn't that big of a deal for you guys. The idea that you absolutely need a superstar or two to win IMO is overstated and honestly not very likely for markets like Salt Lake(and my lovely city New Orleans falls into this category).

To my point you guys should be developing the "Core 5". If the C5 all get 35+ mins that's a win whether you are rooting for the tank or not. Likewise when the C5 is getting less than 30 mins(barring foul trouble) that's a lost IMO again whether or not you want the team to lose.
