Following potential 2014 draftees

I think Smart could easily fall to 6, with a shot of falling to 7 or 8 (if Gordon and Vonleh go before him).

I like Burke, and think the criticism he's been getting by some lately is insanely overblown, but I also think Smart will be a good pro. Idk how he fits in exactly with our core, but I think he can fit in as easily as anyone not named Wiggins or Jabari. Maybe he and Burke duke it out for the starting PG spot and we trade the worse of the two at some point, or maybe they can coexist. Bledsoe seemed to have success with both CP3 and Dragic, and Smart reminds me a bit of Bledsoe.

We could start one of Burks/Smart at SG and have the other be the 6th man.

What I'm getting at is I think there's a good chance Smart is BPA where we pick, and there are ways we could plug him in. I wouldn't pass on him just because we have Burke.

I might be the biggest Burke homer on this board, but still-- if Smart drops to 8 or 9, you draft him without thinking twice. Always BPA.

Smart will always be able to bully smaller guards and get in the lane. As long as he can finish at the rim, that puts a lot of pressure on the defense. I think his shooting can probably become respectable enough, and that seems like the main weakness. He's a good athlete, mentally tough, and should be a solid pro.

Seats on the Smart Wagon are filling up fast.

More like after a long wait and much anticipation, we finally got within just a few feet off the front door of the best club in town but the bouncer turned us away saying we weren't "bad" enough (80's lingo for you). So we have to move on to the next club.

Pretty sure we already have a better version of smart and yet he still doesn't play enough. His name is Alec Bird or Burke or something. He plays behind Richard Jefferson. Why would we draft another player like that so he can play behind Alec and another vet SG? Are we trying to tank next year too?
