Following potential 2014 draftees

and he'll be sitting on the bench during crunch time unless he fixes a lot of things.

He has been doing a lot better as of late offensively. Still has a ways to go, but I think he has turned a corner in his offensive development.

I won't wait for the draft if we win a top 3 on lotto night I'll be ordering season tickets immediately.

Me too.

Seriously

LMAO.

1) Randle hasn't done too much against athletic defenders that are the same size as he is. He struggles when he can't bully his way through players, and he isn't going to bully his way through players in the NBA.

2) His wingspan is 6'11". Pretty much the only NBA PF's with wingspans at that length or smaller are athletic freaks (Blake Griffin) or very skilled players (Kevin Love). Randle is neither of those.

3) He's slow defensively, and he doesn't anticipate well. He'll get abused by any PF with any semblance of athleticism and a face-up game.

4) Zach Randolph is a terrible comparison, because Randolph has a wingspan of about 7'4-7'5. That makes a huge difference. We all know how much you love size…that's a difference of 4-5"…that's a lot. Plus Randolph is much more polished.

5) Randle is a darker skinned Tyler Hansbrough. They both generated at least 1/3 of their points in college from the FT line, and Hansbrough didn't get the calls in the NBA that he got in college. Average defenders who bullied defenses around, relying on the refs to help them out. Randle ain't all that great.

Only part I would really disagree with the Hansbrough/Randle comp is that Randle is a wider body, which will help him in the NBA.

Wiggins 41 pt game...

Wiggins sure has good length.... and extremely long strides.
Runs like a gazelle. Tons of bounce too.
Damn i want wiggins

Btw, Randle's problems are mostly attributed to his handles needing more work than he realized coming out of HS. He's a beast that is majorly tempered by his lacking confidence in holding his dribble in tight traffic. He can beat a press as a point fwd in the open court but has work to do handling it in the lane with multiple guys swiping at the ball.

That's the difference of the once-hype and now.

Gordon's handle is sick for his size.

Every game I watch of his, he gets super excited after making a coast-to-coast play.

His better offensive play combined with your incessant pimping of him has me feeling better about ending up with gordon.

Same goes for smart due to some of you guys (spy) liking him.

Might as well start liking those players so im not disappointed on draft day

Yes, accept the letdown now.

Didn't someone post some evidence that he's 6'6 w/o shoes ? I don't know but I think his handle is loose and I don't think he can get away with it other than transition and early offense. But I get that you like Aaron Gordon and will seek every opportunity to pimp him ;)

Around this time last year he measured 6'9 in shoes. Basketball is played in shoes. 6'9 is decent PF size.

*Swear to God if Fabtrey lectures me on 1/4 of an inch I will murder someone*

I'll wait for the draft combine and rely on him appearing small next to similarly measured teammates on team photos.

has Aaron Gordon really turned the corner on his offensive development? his numbers in the past 10 games are almost identical to his season averages

in his last 10 games i see performances of

4-14, 8 pts, 38 minutes vs Cal
2-5, 6pts, 27 minutes vs Oregon
1-3. 3pts, 20minutes vs Utah
3-9, 8pts, 34 minutes vs Oregon St,

Lol at cherry picking his worst 4 games and only showing those.

Look at his last 8, he had 2 bad offensive performances. He has scored over 20 twice in the past 6 games, something he only did once before that.

Can we really trust anything that the guy who though Alec Burks could be a PG says?

Alec's failures at PG have been way sensationalized on this forum, there was a few game experiment that didnt go too well but thats really a much smaller sample size than lets say Otto Porters rookie season, Alec still takes the ball up all the time..

if you remember i predicted Alec's season would be like the Linsanity one... which has been spot-on... and would be ready for more PG duties next year

I think I'd take Jabari over Wiggins. I think this team needs a home-run draft pick in terms of offensive production, and I think Jabari gives us a higher chance at that.

Jabari is more of a sure thing, whereas Wiggins is the gamble. I'd hate (to be the Jazz GM) and get the 1st overall pick of this draft, cuz I'd have an *** of a time deciding between Embiid, Wiggins and Parker
