Following potential 2014 draftees

Are we sure the floor was completely level when they measured? Did they bring in a civil engineer to properly check for floor balance? Did they make sure the ruler was true to the exact quarter inch? If I look at some random picture I can deduct he is about .29'' shorter than his listed height.

Yup.

His shoes probably are not regulation either

Chad Ford on Twitter...
Adreian Payne with a huge 41 pt game today. One of the few stretch fours in Draft. More big games could make him a lock for the lottery.

Probably sucking up to a certain fanbase to bump his ratings is all. He's one of the best at it.

Same wingspan as Hayward…I think he'll be fine.

that's good wingspan for his size, but not great considering he seems to have wide shoulders. d wade 6ft 3 3/4 barefoot, but 6ft 10 3/4 wingspan. so if these numbers are right, he is smaller d wade. and probably not even half the athlete compared to prime wade. they called wade Flash for a reason. ridiculously fast 1st step. wade wasn't much of a leaper, but with that ridiculous arm length he had no problem dunking over dudes.

i know he played PG alot, but i still view him as a poorman's d wade. no doubt he is top 10 worthy. but again, i'm just not a fan of shorter 2 guards. i want MJ/kobe body type with speed and athleticism. but maybe this kid can be like this generation's Joe dumars. nasty defender with competitive fire. i wouldn't mind that.

His size? He's 6'4 with a 6'8 wingspan and 220 pounds…what's to worry about? His athleticism is more than enough…it's not outstanding, but easily above average.

Also, this isn't related to your post, but Marcus Smart is shooting over 50% from 2. His problem comes that he shoots too many 3's, which is an easy problem to fix.

and if he really is 220lb, then he is playing too heavy. it means he has too much muscle. ideal weight should be 205-210lb for him. and then maybe 4-5 years he should play at 220lb . wade was playing at 225lb, and he admitted he was playing too heavy.

It could lead to wear on the knees, like it did for Wade and Baron Davis. Not a big consideration though when he's young.

is he a big 6ft 2 pg who can bully other pgs? or is he an undersized 6ft 2 sg who will get bothered by longer and taller 2 sgs? yes, height matters for a guy who doesn't seem to have a clear position in the next level.

put your GM hat on. little things do matter.

let's say we draft Smart and those measurements are true. then we would probably have one of the smallest back court in the entire NBA. IMO, Trey is our point and he is our starter. that ain't gonna change regardless who we draft. at least not for next 2 years.

but i wouldn't mind a small back court if we have wiggins at 3.

Nbadraft.net da stupid. Been said 1000 times, but srs...wth are they smoking? Seems they are straight trolling now a days. Kyle Anderson top 10? Ehhh?

This month there's a lot of people watching college basketball. So naturally a lot of them will casually use this google page to search for "Nba mock draft" or something like this. Then they find nbadraft and other already know it and check it out casually.
And when they do something highly unconventional people will remember and tell their friends and so on...
