I would rather have an in-depth discussion on the future of the Utah Jazz with Thriller than my fiancee.

And it's not even because of her, I just don't like talking seriously about sports with women. They can cheer with me, but I ain't gonna go all analytical on 'em.

Oh, she doesn't care about basketball at all. She probably wouldn't even know who they are as a team.

She can be good at whatever she wants to be, I just don't enjoy women that like to talk about sports as much as I do.

Is this confusing to you for some reason?

FWIW, I like that she's great at cooking and baking, she likes dark beers, she can shoot guns as well as I can, she likes to hunt and fish, she likes mud and country music, she loves her family…basically she's what I consider to be my American dream woman. It probably won't be the same for you or anybody else, but I don't care what you like in a woman, to be honest with ya.

yeah, it's pretty confusing to me whenever somebody makes broad and arbitrary generalizations about what they prefer from a group of people.

Well ya see buddy…some people have standards, which means that they have the opportunity to choose friends and significant others based off of those standards. I realize that's probably a foreign concept for you, since you just take what you can get, but someday you may understand.

So value systems can be reduced to what we anticipate of someone after we've perceived their 'race', gender, class, etc.?

You have awesome standards, dude. And an even awesomer psychology.

Wtf are you talking about? I haven't said **** about any of that…I just said I don't like to hang out with girls who talk about sports a lot.

Seriously, where are you pulling this from?

Not everything in life needs to be complicated brah.

Shouldnt need a Websters dictionary to break it down to someone that I dont find girls who are into sports attractive. A girl who likes to go to games? Fo sho, just shows that she's fun. If a girl I'm dating ever knows WTF a Salary Cap, or any of that ish is doe, I will likely run as fast as I can.

Srs tho, "Value Systems, gender roles blah blah blah" stop trying to make simple things complicated.

Are you just going to ignore the hierarchy of various demographics that has been extrapolated beyond the cosmos over the transpondence of time and been perpetually perpetuated by a vast amount of "culture", and not just in a unilateral sense?

Slippery slope bro.

I don't even know what I just read.

This is like that Will Ferrell debate in Old School…I'm pretty sure UGLI just blacked out.

Was dating a girl a couple years ago, we would go to every Utes game together for like 2 seasons, and she was the self described "BIGGEST OF UTES FAN EVAR!!!1"

In the 3rd Qtr of about the 19th game we went to together, her living and dying by the result of each game, she turned to me and said, "k, don't make fun, but the one thing I don't get is why sometimes they just kick the ball to the other team."

She was talking about punting. After two seasons of going to every home game, watching every road game, and being "biggest fan ever" she didnt know what a punt was. This showed she didn't understand how important "downs" were. Which showed she didn't really understand much of anything other than there were a bunch of dudes out there on that field, and it was def a good thing when the guys in Red ran it into the Touchdown thing, and that she was reeeaally excited about the whole experience.

Fine by me lol.

LazyD i gotta disagree about the ISU Uconn matchup, Vegas has it as a pick'em or 1point game

Uconn's got those quick guards, DeAndre Daniels is a tough matchup at forward and Amida Brimah the 7'er leads the NCAA in blocks per 40 @6.25 per game

Brimah is an interesting prospect, ill be keeping a close eye on him for the next few years he was WAY under recruited, only had offers from Florida International, La Salle, South Carolina and UConn. hes 7' with a 7'6" wingspan

I'm not saying it will be easy, but I think Villanova had the strength to match up with ISU a little better. UConn's length is very impressive and they are very athletic in the frontcourt, but ISU is much stronger at virtually every position and very quick in their own right. It will be an interesting matchup. We can discuss it here since it won't get any airtime on the television. Really sucks not having Niang cuz now we have about 3 offensive sets: Iso with Kane, pnr w/ Kane and Ejim, and Kane iso postup. He's gonna get really tired.

Either way, if Napier and Boatright are on the court at the same time, one of them will be destroyed in the post by an ISU player. I think ISU will fare well on the glass in this game also. People assume we aren't good at rebounding (but we are) and Niang wasn't a good rebounder at all, so he doesn't make us any worse at that.

Do you follow UConn at all? If you do could you give me the scoop on them.

Why'd you punt her?
