Not the best quality but this picture was taken from very far a way and very quickly (I threw his ball as far as I could and then had to quickly take the pic cause I wanted to get him in the air catching the ball)

Didn't they stop making film for those?

They did-- but a third-party company started making them a few years ago, and they are actually quite good (albeit incredibly expensive).

Hmm.. That's awfully steep.. Like you, I wouldn't pay more than $120. Fun camera though.

I ended up purchasing it. Wanna give me tips? Cuz I took my first shot, and it came out over-exposed and blurry :(

My wife is really the photographer in my family, but I've been known to take a few with her camera (Rebel t2i). I'll dig out a few and post them.

Last summer we went on a few hikes with the kiddos. The pics I'm posting are from Cecret Lake, above Alta.

If you look you can see a moose in there.

Little bull moose just starting to sprout some nubs for antlers. I figured he was probably about a year old.

Another one of the bull moose.

He had his sister with him, but we never got a good shot of her. She was probably born that spring.

Hey bigb, i want to go to there. How do i get there? Should i bring my fishing pole? (any fish in there?)

That first pic of the moose is especially nicely done btw. Looks professional.

Just go up past Alta. You hit a dirt road at the top and keep going till you hit a little parking lot. Cecret Lake trail is to the right (south I think) through the little camping/picnic area. Easy little walk. My littlest kids walked 90% of it.
We went the beginning of August. I've heard the end of June is the best time to go because there are lots of wildflowers in full bloom.
I honestly have no idea if there are fish. We saw salamanders in the water.

Thanks. They were actually a little lower, at the Cecret Meadow trailhead. We saw them from the dirt road (they were only about 15 feet off the road) so we jumped out to take some pics.

I bought a new pack of B&W film today. Shot this-- still overexposed, but the focus seemed to be good!

Looks better in person, mind you.

Thanks dude! The film is so so expensive & I'm unemployed, so I'm hoping that I'll get a more extensive collection of photos as I get older. I know you already have tonnes-- and I'm jelly.

I'm hoping to travel to Japan later this year-- and I intend to get a really awesome used 35mm film camera when I'm there.

Smaller aperture.
