im pretty happy with where i stood on MCW, always had him pegged in the top 10 and repeated 'i cant see him falling past the kings or pistons' a few times. my main worry about him was turnovers.. and hes leading the league in turnovers
At the beginning of the season they were legit as a team and MCW was their best player. I expect him get better offensively.
I was mainly hating on him because I thought he was horrible in summer league and I didn't know about Syracuse's style of defense.
I just wouldn't throw guys in the first year under the bus and call other posters out for pimping that player. That can quickly backfire in October.

Agree 100 percent.
A month ago i thought we would end up with vonleh, gordon (when i didnt understand his value), or smart.
Now we will probably get randle (i really like), gordon (i now love), exum (scouts and experts believe is a star), or even parker (ecstatic), embiid (mindblown) or wiggins (perma shower boner) if get lucky in the lottery.
The last 15 or so games for the jazz have been just what the doctor ordered

Larkin broke his foot in Summer League and hasn't had any playing time to prove anything. He's playing on a play-off team right now, but I admit I was wrong.. I think if he got drafted by the Jazz he would be doing better. All depends on the circumstance with these guys.

Btw, if a team lands a Harrison twin in the late first-round that will be a major steal.

The draft is 10x better to speculate about when the Jazz have a high pick. College basketball is more fun to watch as well, as if it isn't the best to watch anyways.. I paid no attention to the 2012 draft when I found out the Jazz didn't have a pick.
Looking grim for him. What I said before the draft about his personality seems to come true...
Teammate told a journalist not too long ago something like:
Schroeder must have been a big shot on his last team. He won't listen to anyone!

Schroder has been shooting it a bit better and has a 2:1 AST:TO ratio this month. hes gotten his consistent 12 minutes back due to his defense, and his coach has acknowledged some recent improvement (though he hasent been able to produce in his last 3 games since spraining an ankle).
other than punching Demarcus Cousins in the nuts and checking into the game in his practice shorts, his year has been pretty quiet. He plays so fast and looks very quick vs NBA guys(on both end of the court), i still like his chances at being pretty good

Physically I agree. And I watched some games in the last month when he slowly carved out a rotation spot again and executed their scheme pretty good.
But as I said dude's got no brain and no education. Will be a long road to become a true team player if he ever does it.
He'll get there strength wise and his spot up jumper is also working okay-ish. He can work to improve. He'll never be lethal around the basket unless he beats the defense with quickness. He simply lacks advanced moves, creativity and body control to finish around the rim and find weaknesses when attacking bigs.
But to maximize his court vision dude's gotta take care of his attitude.
Mental aspect of the game has been too much for him up to this point. Body language is horrible partly but luckily for him he only has to compete with Lou Williams and Jeff Teague. Both are tunnelvision chuckers who can totally match his level of ignorance.

coaching matters - if dantoni is picking a team, he would get gordon because he fits better.
if kanter came out in this draft he would also be in the top 10 mix. 6ft 9 3/4, good athleticism, and so much potential. i don't know why so many of you giving up on him already. dude is only 21. and reason why favors playing center is because we don't have a center. i was super high on Embiid, but now i don't want him because of his back issue which freaks me out.
and you are only assuming randle to be better than kanter. i think randle is a safe bet, but we have no idea if randle pans out in the next level. and kanter has shown plenty of potential. i do think randle will be better too. but he still have plenty holes in his game just like kanter is.
i just like the idea of gordon better. he would be our defensive swiss army knife. with all the intangibles he bring, he would emotionally lift others. i really love the idea of having a joakim noah in a tweener body. well, that's just me.
