He's got excellent (elite) offensive post skills. Everything else right now is pretty average.

Maybe a greg monroe type?

Cynicism has reached a new high today. Just a little bit sad I can't include include tweets in the post...

#SmokeWeedforEmbiid? RT @JonHRedeker @AlexKennedyNBA He's just being a team player, doing whatever he can help the team lose games!

Some twitter user dropping a comment on the news about Larry Sanders 5 game suspension. Alex Kennedy countered it with a very fine and devious twitter tanking handle or whatever it is called.

Hopefully Randle explodes tomorrow, and gets back into the mix for the top 4.

He's been playing better of late. Any monster game at this stage will only shift more focus on him, especially with Wiggins/Parker etc out of the way.

I keep going back and forth on McDermott, but I think he can be a good pro. He's not really going to guard either forward position, but I think you could probably put him at either one, cover for him and give him the easier defensive assignment. His scoring should be a net positive vs his lack of defense. He has the potential to be a Chris Mullin-type player.

I like the mullin comp more than others i have heard

Interested to see how McDermott does in the athletic testing. I think if he has some surprising numbers it could bump him up a few spots. Also interested to see what his body fat % is, dude seems kind of pudgy.

If the Jazz miss out on Wiggins and Parker, Embiid really wouldn't be that bad at all.

Anthony Davis college stats per 40 mins:

17.7 PPG, 13 RPG, 5.8 BPG, 1.7 APG, 1.6 SPG, 62% from the field, and 71% from the free throw line.

Joel Embiid college stats per 40 mins:

19.4 PPG, 14 RPG, 4.5 BPG, 2.3 APG, 1.5 SPG, 63% from the field, and 69% from the free throw line.

I mean those stats compare very favorably to AD's..

Good thing about McD though is that I think he has the IQ to play decent defense on a team with a good scheme, like the Bulls. I think a guy like Jimmer just had 0 defensive abilities, mentally or physically.
