What's new

14th Tank Platoon

I'm saying it and don't give a **** if anyone doesn't like it. If you think I have the power to change the outcome of a game a thousand miles away, then you probably need to start praying to me as your new God as I can obviously smite your *** with a quickness.

Orlando about to close out a tired Minnesota team at home; that double OT game last night paid off.

Boston up 13 on the road in Detroit.

Boston tank job is obvious. Nobody misses that many easy layups the last two minutes.

At least Detroit has pretty much pushed themselves out of our range. Pretty safe bet that we're picking between #4 and #6 as Orlando's closing tilt is against five playoff teams in the Least. At this point, we really need to lose our home game against the Lakers as their final push is brutal. SA needs to tank the last game against them hardcore-GS style.

Green with the air ball 3. Way to go Boston. F*** you.

They are 1-13 in the last 14 games, really outanking us

As Simmons noted a few days ago: "...Sacramento and Boston have done the best jobs of anyone at playing hard for 45 minutes and then blowing games late. They’ve really made it an art form...".

What's even funnier is Ainge coming out every other day saying how weak the draft is. This guy is a snake and would never deal with him. Even if he puts Rondo on the block, I would assume he has some hidden, but serious, injury.

Don't stress too much. The Jazz are going to lose all but one more game from here on out. Don't think they'll end up in the top 3, so I have a feeling that they end up with one of Exum, Randle, Gordon, Vonleh or Smart. Still think that's a pretty good consolation prize.

Also, NBA teams have a habit of reaching to fill needs (either that, or they're just terrible at drafting) and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see a guy like Parker fall a bit if the lottery lands just right.

Part of being high as possible isn't just about getting more number combinations but also insurance if someone leaps over you. Take 2005 for instance where we were the 4th seed. Both Portland at #5 and Milwaukee at #6 leapfrogged us as we fell all the way to #6. We had to trade back up to get DWill. I don't want another scenario this year with GS's pick as we can draft a good rotational player with that mid 20's pick.
