Why the hell is evans starting over Kanter ? Kanter was the best player on the sucking team in the first half.

Umm it's not hard to notice why. But who would score off the bench if Kanter started the 2nd half instead of Evans? Better yet who would rebound? This was the obvious smarter rotation in that regard.

With 4:03 left in the first Q, Jefferson is shooting free throws, you can clearly hear someone shout at Vince Carter: "Carter, how old are you?" And he yells back with a smile "A couple days younger than you."

im pretty sure the jazz will have a new coach and ty wont be resigned.

I think this young team needs a fresh start with a new coach and I also think corbin needs a fresh start. I think it's good for both sides.

He needs to be a head coach of a small college, one that has players stay 4 years. I bet he'd love to have a few seniors and a 35 second shot clock.

The scary part about Corbin wasn't how unprepared he was for this job. We all knew it was going to be a project. The scary thing was how very little he progressed. We are still dealing with unmotivated players. No discipline offensively. Absolutely no progress (hell, we've become worse defensively). Terrible use of timeouts and bad rotations. Wi he ever learn? And he still doesn't show much emotion. He's still making excuses like a cheerleader for this team.

Some men, are meant to be coaches. Some? Just aren't cut out for the job. I honestly don't think Corbin has the attitude or cognitive ability to be a head coach. He flat out doesn't have that attitude you need. A lil nasty. That fire. Hornacek, although he's fairly soft spoken, has that fire. AD and Corbin? They just don't have that. And then cognitive ability. It's hard to make adjustments on the fly. It's tough to manage timeouts and egos. Corbin, honestly, doesn't make (any) right moves. Very few adjustments. It's like he just rolls out the ball and lets the team play ward bball.

It's mind boggling. We don't have a single shooter on this team yet we continue to cast away.

We have plenty of shooters, not many makers though.

Speaking of jazz announcers, Boler is a blast. Kanter shot it long, the ball barely touched the back side rim and Boler announces " Kanter shoots, it's short!"

I liked Booner trying to explain why all 8 WC teams may win 50 games: it's because of parity.

Corbin won't be a head coach in this league.

I think he will eventually get another chance. There have been worse coaches who have been given 2nd shots elsewhere. I think next year his choices are college or back to being an assistant.
