14th Tank Platoon

So the Jazz are pretty much locked into the 4th spot and can possibly tie for 3rd with a loss and a Magic win? That's a far better result for the tank than we deserve. Jazz have more talent than we give them credit for. Our frustration over the poor season and Ty's coaching has many ready to move on, but I fully expect next year to be one of surpassed expectations. Core5 can play together and should function better as individuals and as a team under new leadership. Add a couple of talented rookies to their pathetic bench and I think they might end up like Portland within a year or two. Probably won't make the playoffs, but they won't be picking top 5 again (unless they get really lucky in the lottery.)

It would be sweet to win like 35-40 games and grab a top 3 pick. Honestly though, if we add Wiggins or Parker we don't really need another star in the draft. Just gotta play it smart and we're in good shape if we draft top 2.

Draft lottery night gonna be sooooooo nervewracking

Yeah, that is totally not what he said. He said that the whole Mormon headquarter thing would not play into where he wanted to play. And he has little control over where he plays anyhow.

That is what I took away as well. The dude emphasized "Mormon headquarters" and I think paerker gave the same answer anyone would give. Honestly as a lifelong jazz fan I have to admit that if I was a player the Jazz would not be my first choice, they wouldn't be my last either though.

So the worst the Jazz can now do is a tie for 4th with Boston. Best they can do is a tie for 3rd with Orlando.

Last night was huge. Was also cool to hear some of the things that DL says they have learned:

Trey can run an NBA team

Hayward is one of the better passing wings in the league

Kanter has found consistency in scoring and rebounding

Favors has shown his ability on D and in the pick and roll

All I can remember off the top of my head.

And none of them can play in the 4th quarter.

Funny that people still dont like Alec Burks

Haters gonna hate.

And before cyrone comes and says "i said he is good just not on the level of the other core players...... how is that hating?"

Cyrone is saying that burks is at best not even on the level of the top 4 players on the worst team in the conference.
that is the same thing as saying that burks sucks imo
