What's new

Yesterday - Bundy Ranch

And now reports that the militia men have set up armed checkpoints demanding to see proof for local residency. Locals are starting to be fed up

Next thing we know, there will be a referendum for Bunkerville to secede from the Union...

If that is true then they are becoming the very thing they think they are fighting against. Some jackpot tries to randomly stop me for proof of local residency (or anything else along those lines) and I'm gonna tell him where in the hell he can stick it.

Just saw video of Bundy's interviews. Anyone associated with him and his movement should be ashamed.

I saw a CNN interview where the interviewer did his best to get Bundy to spew some more racist ignorance, but Bundy sorta refused, saying he mighta been a sinner in what he said, but insisting that Martin Luther King was right about how we should be. Boy was the reporter a douche just ignoring that and repeating his leading questions.

Anbybody who watches CNN should be ashamed.

To be fair I think they are better than Fox and MSNBC. But they are still in the business of propoganda and not news. Almost no one does "news" anymore.

The fundamental problem with a lot of "patriots" is their intellectual devotion to their cause. They go blind to other ideals sometimes, and like most folks with a narrow focus in life begin to forget the arts of diplomacy and the teaching of Jesus to serve others regardless of whether they're "friend" or "enemy".

I think the folks with other political agendas do the same thing just as well. It's not just "rednecks" that are asses sometimes, "progressives" can be even worse sometimes. Anyone who doesn't respect the rights of others, and undertakes methods of yellow journalism or police force to have others do things their way.. .. . pretty much missing the point of the core ideal of our system of government.

Probably goes back to when PKM posted about how the Bundy's were tipped off that government agent led militias were going to start showing up. I said then that regardless of whether that was a real tip or not....paranoia would follow. Here we are.

MSNBC=liberal agenda
FOX=conservative agenda
CNN=sensationalist agenda

I guess TMZ is the only news source we should trust.

/sarcasm

A lot of those Left wing websites make TMZ look like real news websites. You go to their front pages....it's all celeb news....10 things you can do to shove your head higher up your *** type lists.....with a column of pro homosexual non-news stories on the left about like the first homosexual to properly attend a NFL game while wearing a scarf. Then they've got one real news item about potential Internet censorship waiting for you at the bottom if you scroll past all that nonsense.

I absolutely agree that this is not confiend to the "rednecks". It is something that various groups have shown over the years.

Not only that but what do they consider "local"? From what I have seen/heard people from UT, NV, AZ, TX, WA, ID, OR, OK, FL and ME have gone there. Are they going to shun anyone not from rural clark county? If so they are dramatically reducing their power base.

I've dreaded the likelihood of a "false flag" event like this. There are, after all, actually organizations run by what I'd term rogue agencies of our government, set up to look like a political organization promoting, say, gun rights or any other trending movement with anti-government elements. Terrorist organizations, even. We have DEA, FBI and ATF sting ops designed to entrap folks intending to break the law somehow. I think we have gun rights and militia sting ops just as well, for the purpose of drawing in the crazies, as some would see that.

The worst thing possible with the Bundy case is for people to take control of the area extra-judicially or extra-politically. By that I mean, by people displacing the established system of governance.

Why would I think that's the worst possible way to go????

Because in this country we still have the political power in the public at large that is necessary to resolve issues like this. If groups like these can displace our politcal system, we lose that power. A development like this can displace the possibility of resolving grazing rights/public land use policies within courts and in legislative bodies.

Not saying the federal agencies have not themselves acted to displace our power. . . . .

Not saying the federal agencies have not themselves acted to displace our power. . . . .

Isn't that the core issue. Whether you go the mob route or the "civilized" court route localized government will continue to lose power to the centralized government under all kinds of false flags.

"False Flag"; the new "socialist" and "progressive".

Join us next week for "Disclosure"!

alright.

fair enough for you to stick to specific facts discoverable in traditional, responsible media sources and your buddies. Nobody has to believe anything I say.

If you attempt to integrate a lot of apparently disconnected events into a coherent pattern, you have to use generalities. Let's just fact check our audience here:

what people call themselves progressives. name names, show quotes.

what people call themselves socialists. name names, show quotes.

what people fly "false flags" and run public opinion campaigns of any sort: sending out mailers, doing phone bank calls, talking over backyard fences or on net forums. . . . all the way to having lunch with public officials? Well, on that line it's just political normality. "False flag" campaigns are quite a lot more sophisticated than that, in that they utilize determined plans to deceive. Our government is known to do some pretty sophisticated deception, and some even claim it is essential to our well-being that "our enemies" are misled. But what about when you happen to be on that "enemies" list. yep. you. John Q. Public.

Can you even imagine the existence of intellectual believers in ideas like Malthusian overpopulation horrors, planetary pollution issues, and nightmares like thermonuclear war who decide they must, for the sake of the world, just achieve some political objective, such as restoring vast tracts of wilderness across planet earth? I not only know they exist, I know they believe they are doing a good and necessary thing to reduce world population to less than 1/6 our present global population. Getting government agencies to facilitate specific objectives, in their minds, would justify a little side show in the Nevada desert:

send out some signals about an intended forcible confrontation with a deranged misfit who prattles nonsense about constitutional notions nobody has ever heard of since Lincoln, contrive to set up some super-militant "patriot" group to seize control from the government, and in general pursue a newsworthy path for months, perhaps, becoming increasingly offensive to the general public. Make the "patriots" so off-center everybody will just hate them, and go along with some draconian new legislation that will require government passes/ security clearances for anyone to enter BLM or Forest Service lands for any reason. In the meantime, you can just shut down grazing use on the intended "wilderness corridors" completely. And it will become just a new ordinary fact of life that the government has armed troops patrolling all the off-limits lands.

I know there are people who would think that is progress.

the fundamental reason it just doesn't work for you to flag my lingo as meaningless rhetoric is because two of the terms I use do have objective meanings and many folks who believe in the principles, and the reason the third will never be very well proven as a fact is just because it will always be denied, as in that is inherently what it implies: a public display meant to mislead a public that generally assumes things are what they are professed to be.

And, yes, it is just too much damn trouble for most people, like you, to follow the whole story, let alone swallow it.

Trying to provide a concise picture of the plan, which has already been endorsed not only by UN agreements/treaties/conventions, but by our own Congress as well, is difficult:

https://www.discerningtoday.org/members/Analyses/mapwild.htm

According to the Wildlands Project, "One half of the land area of the 48 conterminous [united] states be encompassed in core [wilderness] reserves and inner corridor zones (essentially extensions of core reserves) within the next few decades.... Half of a region in wilderness is a reasonable guess of what it will take to restore viable populations of large carnivores and natural disturbance regimes, assuming that most of the other 50 percent is managed intelligently as buffer zone." (Noss, 1992) If fully implemented, the Convention On Biological Diversity would have to displace millions of people through unacceptable regulations, nationalization of private land, and forcing people to move out of core reserve areas and inner buffer zones. It would seriously reduce the production of agriculture, forest, and mining products. In the process, millions of Americans could lose their jobs. In turn, the resulting scarce resources means the rest of us are going to pay double and triple for these products.

A whole bunch of stuff...

And, yes, it is just too much damn trouble for most people, like you, to follow the whole story, let alone swallow it.

Dude, I know what a false flag is. I believe the conflict in Vietnam was escalated because of one. I see what you're saying, and I will even give you some credit; it's possible. I just don't think it's likely. Do they happen? Ya, I think they do. Is the Bundy situation one of them? Nope.

Anyway, I was just poking fun at the fact that you can't make a post without mentioning socialism, progressives, and now false flags. I was semi-serious about disclosure though; what are your thoughts on that? My prediction is before 2020 we will have it.
