What's new

When you publicly call for someone to be banned, you probably shouldn't..

Upon reviewing the evidence, I can no longer attend Jazz games with you, McFly. You've taken this trolling stuff way too far.

Received another negative rep from "sexy jazz kitten 69." I'm assuming it's from Archie Broses. In which case I believe he deserves an infraction for fraudulent rep. Mods, please discuss.

For the record, I voted to give an infraction in this instance.

Signing other people's name on rep is only designed to create problems between users. There is no innocent purpose. While the rep system is anonymous that does not imply that you have the freedom to forge another person's moniker onto rep so that they will be hit with any consequences, whether they be reputational or otherwise.

Also, calm down. Infractions are a slap on the wrist. You have to get them in volume before anything happens.

Everyone back off McFly -- he's a top shelf guy who made one bad decision. He's also a client, so I have to say this crap.

Archie,

Please revise your original sentiment that you will no longer create game threads to you will no longer create threads.

Seriously, your whinefest has gone beyond pathetic which quite frankly I didn't even know you were capable of accomplishing.

At which part did I whine? I just think it's funny that someone made a thread asking for someone to be banned for trolling and in the same week, that person signs his reps with other people's names. hehepeepeecaca right there. Can you imagine what the "Sheepish clown posse" would be saying I called for someone to be banned for trolling, and was too chicken to sign my own name with my reps to troll? You're lying to yourself if you think otherwise. Seriously, you are.

I need to start reading the board more again. The constant Archie drama confuses me to no end.

Why was a rep system integrated into the new site exactly? It seems like it creates more trouble here than any semblance of benefit.

Because it allows back-seat moderatin, mebbe? Lot of the anonymous dime-droppers round this here joint don't never make no posts, I'm told. They just like to hide in the dark, and whine. But sometimes the mods don't punish peoples based on their complaints. This way they can anonymously (if not fraudulently) act as a mod and "punish" a person for posts they don't like. Works out purty good for everyone, I figure. Might even save the mods some time in readin hundreds of unwarranted complaints, who knows?
