Following potential 2014 draftees

Randle would leave the guards to fend for themselves in transition defense trying to get ORebs from the SF spot, it'd be 3 on 2 fastbreaks all game, hes too big to recover on defense from the perimeter. it would be a disaster

Yeah with ORebs you have to gamble whoever you send to rebound. I was thinking more the DRebs side of things, no second chances. Favors/Kanter/Randle going up for that team rebound, that would definitely be a boost for us defensively.

You're right, he would do that until the coach tells him to stop. But yes, that first pre-season game would suck.

coaching isn't going to help him from being too bulky for the SF position. Damien Inglis is enormous for a SF but hes still 10 lbs lighter than Randle and Inglis moves and dribbles better. check out the "lateral quickness" portion of their DX vids and compare, clearly Randle has a more a lumbering step.

Lebron has played PF for most of the season meaning that Julius Randle is 10lbs heavier than any SF currently getting any sort of minutes, the 240lb SF's are Kevin Durant and Joe Johnson, both of these players have handles like a guard.

I agree that he's not a SF, but if some moronic coach decides to put him at the 3, he can be coached to cool it on the offensive glass. Also, if that moronic coach puts him at the 3, he'll still produce because he can play the game.

Please for the love of all mighty, quit calling Randal a SF. He's a Power Forward!

I love when people can tell the future and knows what a player will do in certain situations...

do you seriously think he wouldn't be a liability in transition defense as a 250lb SF? how about vs the Warriors, Spurs, Suns, Thunder, Clippers and Rockets

Those list of teams are all the more reason why we need to draft players who can play efficiently with pace. All of those teams are in our conference. For those like Hotnikkk who were trying to say we should become the grizzlies and play slow, look at their playoff success this year. The West is fast. If we want to compete, we need to get up and down that court as well.

So I guess this is happening with the kings

@WindhorstESPN: The Sacramento Kings are launching a analytics crowdsourcing program to help them make their draft pick, GM Pete D'Alessandro says

Does this mean their fans are choosing who they draft?

Does it? :0

That's awesome.

@WindhorstESPN: Kings will let you into their draft room to help make pick if you impress them with your analytics model: https://t.co/pMtHe5elSO

So it sounds like they are going to let a fan help them. That would be pretty sweet to see behind the doors.

Actually took OKC seven games and who knows what would have happened if the knucklehead Randolph didn't get suspended.
