Sounds like you have more of an issue with SYS (Sudden Deceleration Syndrome).

If Colton fell off a roof and died when no one was around, would it make a noise?I don't generally have any phobias, but one time I was working on my roof with no one else around except my baby daughter inside the house taking a nap, and I suddenly became petrified of falling. I think I was fearing what would happen to my daughter if I fell off and killed myself, because my wife wouldn't have been back for hours. Weird sensation. I couldn't move from my perch for about 10 minutes.
Speaking of heights, there was another time we were hiking in Zion National Park and my daughter (11) avoided falling off a ~200 foot high ledge by inches. She was running and the plateau we were on abruptly ended. She went skidding to a stop. She claims she wasn't very close, but I was watching the whole thing and if she had gone another foot or so she wouldn't have been able to stop and would have gone straight off the ledge. I still get queasy inside just thinking about it even though it was 6 years ago. Not sure if that qualifies as a phobia though, since it was a very real danger.
Yes. Eating a blue waffle.
/thread.
I have a phobia of finger-nail-clippers.

....if AKMVP died....would I be least likely to mourn his passing?
if you were a proper Christian, you would be among those who mourned his loss the most. I suppose that isn't the case, though.

So proper christians have to be sad when anyone dies? Even Hitler?
Ho! Godwin's law by page 3. Woot!
Right, because a) my post definitely said that a Christian should mourn the loss of every man; and b) AKMVP has made a case for himself to be just as bad as Hitler, and fully deserving of CJ's hate.
Impressive straw man, señor.
Did you miss the part about Godwin's law?
Oh and your post was unclear on what people christians must morn and which they are allowed not to. Therefore my hyperbolic statement is a reasonable extension of your post.
I also found it kind of funny that you would be telling christians what they are supposed to believe.
Wow you really need to work on your sense of cynicism and humor. You are just taking things far too seriously.
So to take this absurd conversation even further, christians believe in an afterlife, so why wouldn't they be happy someone has passed on to live with Jesus?
Actually there is little in christian teachings expressing the requirement to mourn anyone. In fact parts of the bible talk about not mourning any more, such as in Revelation, and Ezekial.
So yes, sometimes being part of a group helps you understand the beliefs better. I am sure it is just as good to get my info about muslims from my jewish friend who knows a lot of muslims as it would be to talk to a real muslim, right? And knowing several muslims and reading about their faith on wiki can make me just as much an expert on their faith as living it day in and day out, right?
I remember what a pain in the *** it was to eat a corn dog for me.
You have a cute knack of taking a statement I make, and applying it in only the most extreme of circumstances. I know Jewish people who know many accurate facts about my faith, and I know Muslims who know an intense amount of Judeo-Christian theology. The world does not operate with extremes.
Instead of looking at the labels administered upon people, look at the statements that they are making. If they are accurate, who cares as to whether the person is a Christian, a Jew, a Taoist, or whatever.
