Can the C.J. Miles experiment please end?

So, 25 games into the season, I thought it would be fun to look at some stats and see if I'm really up in the night like all of my neg reps claim... Anyhow, here's what I found.

Chucker is shooting 41% from the field. To put that into perspective, he is the second worst shooter on the team behind the lowly rookie Hayward. But don't worry, he has put up more shots than anyone outside of the Big 3. (DWill, Jefferson, Mansap) He is second on the team behind DWill in 3 point attempts, but has the lowest 3 point % of anyone that is getting more than 5 minutes a game. (and not named Earl)

Just some food for thought. Discuss.

He is still one of the best on the team in +/-. The team pretty consistently outscore the opponent when he is in. And he has been on the floor for most of their runs to come back. He is a good defender now. He is passing the ball and taking those shots within the offense and he is one of the only offensive threats off of the bench.

So yea I still think your up in the night. However I don't think I've given you any neg rep in this thread. Just Rainhut.

Suspect stat at best.

You might as well say he leads the team in most Turtleneck Sweaters.

But he better not say that.
I'm pretty sure Fes leads the team in turtlenecks.... but I believe he leads the team in sweatervests.
Just so you know, I would rather wear a sweatervest, than a turtleneck anyday.

Turttlenecks and sweaters both suck, hard. Everyone does know that it is at least as hot indoors during the winter as it is the rest of the year, right? So why do i want to sweat all day long just so I'm comfy for the 30 seconds it takes me to walk to my car?

Off topic, sorry. The CJ hate can continue now.

This is why I only own one pair of pants, and I haven't worn them for 2 years. Shorts and flip flops, year 'round.

Half of me is starting to get excited about CJ again. The other half is saying "don't do this to yourself again".

The microanalysis of CJ continues. I wonder one thing, though. Do the CJ haters realize how good he plays when he's on? I get the consistency complaints. But when a player's good nights are spectacular as opposed to just really good, I'm inclined to give the guy latitude. When CJ is on he's a flat out force. The kid has serious talent. The irony is, at 23, if he hadn't been here since he was 18 everyone would think he invented sliced bread. So goes the CJ chronicles.

Agreed, he wins us game almost by himself sometimes when he is really on. He hardly ever loses us games, even when he is off.

Yup, I'm seeing the pattern here. Wonder if we could all just agree to disagree and close this particular thread? It's making the place tedious.

Isn't it funny how last year there were 20 page threads on CJ's defense alone? This thread has nothing on CJ's D and is entirely focused on his shooting from night to night. He makes shots, he's good. He misses shots, he's bad. That's progress in a weird way. His percentages need to come up, but I'm guessing when they do the outcry will be about how it took him 6 years to do it without a mention of the fact he'll barely be 24 at that time.
