2014 NBA Playoffs: Conference Finals

At age 29, LeBron James is now the all time leader in 25/5/5 games in the post season.

Just crazy.

i'm not surprised because he is a career 28/8.5/6.5 guy in the playoffs. so basically almost every game he will get 25/5/5. magic's career 19.5/7.7/12.3 playoff stat is more impressive to me. not to mention his 30 triple double compared to bron's 7.

great talent who needs to be a batman. i think he is a lousy robin.

Ya those 40 point games are very detrimental to the team. His absence from last year's playoffs proved that the Thunder are better without him.

Of all the people without brains, you are probably the dumbest one.

go google his calf. that thing is huge.

I can sleep well at night knowing fabtrey is somewhere googlin some dudes calves.

Someones gotta do it

So glad that the Pacers are still alive. Want a Pacers/Thunder finals tbh

A pacers/spurs final would be hysterical. Nobody outside of Indiana or San Antonio (and perhaps KKKarolina jazz) would watch.

never liked ray allen, but gotta admit dude had a pretty damn good career. and even though he is old as hell, he looks fit as hell. go google his calf. that thing is huge.

he blames it on his bad ankles:

ah, the short sighted one. of course westbrook will give you a great game when he is hot. when things go right he will look like a legit top 3 player in the league. he is that talented. but when things go wrong, you can see there is no synergy between KD and westbrook. turnovers, impatience, too many ISO balls. that's not a championship basketball. can westbrook drop 40 every game like MJ and totally take over? maybe he can. westbrook has been the better player than KD in this series. but you will see too many hero balls where he pads he stats, but doesn't make anyone around him better. he is a shooting guard playing the point. he is MJ packed in 6ft 2 ish frame.

This is a team game. from historical point of view, it's better to have 1 dominant scorer. there is only 1 ball and 5 others on the court. when i watch thunder, they can look atrocious time to time. too many ISOs, no ball movement. go ahead and rewatch 2012 against the heat. that was not pretty basketball. westbrook was awesome. what happens thunder beats spurs, but loses to Heat? all hell will break loose. it will be 2012 all over again. there will be a tension. westbrook will give you good, bad, and the ugly. people will scratch their heads and question why westbrook took more shots than the KD.

if they don't win a ring within next 3 years, there will be a nasty divorce between kd/westbrook. if they stick around together then it means they figured out how to play each other and finally came through together.

if thunder don't win it all this year, presti should make that tough decision. if i can trade westbrook for another top 10 PG + low post scorer + bench, i would do it. KD is my star. he is the face of the franchise. and i'll build a right team around him.

put your GM hat on for once. you will be enlightened.

After watching the video I gonna say top 4 NBA teams of today would beat the crap out of that Celtics team. Thunder and Miami would embarrass them with a sweep and double digits win in every game. That's how athletically dominant they are in comparison to Celtics.

answer my question. if you don't, i'll forever call you a retard.

1. did athletically dominant Heat beat da crap out of spurs last year? spurs have 2 decent athletes.

2. how did argentina beat 04 US team with prime vince carter, young bron, tin duncan, AI and etc? on paper it's a total mismatch. why didn't us team beat friggin argentina with 1 good player by 80 points?

3. how did 40 year old MJ abuse young richard jefferson and dropped 43pts?

4. how did blazers lose to spurs in the 2nd round?

5. how did 80's celtics beat the showtime lakers? showtime lakers had many athletes. balls moved like crazy too.

6. how did 04 pistons with bunch of b level players beat the lakers with prime kobe, 32 year old shaq, and etc. on paper it was a total mismatch. that 04 pistons are not that athletic. they were long and mean, but they weren't elite athletes

7. how did 2006 US team consists of dwight, wade, bron, melo, bosh etc lost to Greece? here is the box score https://www.usab.com/seniormen/2006/06_mwc_box8.html

8. is Dirk a great athlete? how did he dominate the playoffs when he won it all? maybe Larry bird can do the same, but better? because eh, larry bird is much better than dirk?

9. does current top 4 players have bigs to match Mchale, parish, & walton? do you even know mchale, parish, & walton?

answer the damn question. you have no idea how overrated athleticism is. prime mchale tools every damn PF in today's nba offensively. there is not a single soul who can stop mchale. larry bird shoots over anyone and will drop 30 every night. and he will make the ball move too. parish would make a mockery out of soft guys like hibbert. DJ? DJ would be the defensive mvp. dude was like a shut down corner.

if athleticism was the #1 criteria, then spurs shouldn't even be playing right now.

slap yourself silly and call yourself a basketball moron.

lol

like I'm gonna read any post of yours that is longer than a sentence

Pops is so damn smart.

Took out a big. Inserted a 3 pt shooter. Switched Sugar K onto Westbrook. Plugged in Mills. And rotated his guys quickly to run and tire out the benchless Thunder.

It's that kind of ingenuity that's been missing on the Jazz for quite some time. Corbin was just so stubborn to change his lineups. And never adjusted defensively.

Nice. Hopefully this *** kicking ends all the Ibaka is going to be the difference in this series talk. 27 point average margin in the 3 Spurs home victories. Just brutal. KD better show up with a 50 point game if the series goes back to San Antonio.

word.

i hope our new coach can adjust in game. guys like corbin don't belong in the nba because they can't adjust. whether their formula works or not, they stick with it and try to force players to be in it. stupidity gets coaches fired.

and bruce lee would say to them -
“You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.”

....first of off, all I got to say is.....your momma! Number 2: a Spurs vs Heat finals would be great, a Spurs vs. Pacers (a long, long, long, long shot because of the Pacers) would be 4 straight by the Spurs. A Thunder vs. Heat would be entertaining, and I'd be pulling for the Thunder for sure!
