Official Player Workouts for the Utah Jazz

LOL... imagine this lineup:

Kyle Anderson
Alec Burks
Gordon Hayward
Aaron Gordon
Derrick Favors

#SwitchEVERYTHAAAANG

Agreed.
Switch everything would be the plan.

As for pg penetration..... put alec on the point guard. Problem solved.

If there is one area of defense where burks is average to good its guarding smaller quicker guys.

Gotta stock that Stampede roster!

And apologies to colton, I know I should have written, "The Jazz have to stock the Stampede roster."

Chris Forsberg: Noah Vonleh said Boston is his fourth workout (after visiting LAL, SAC, ORL). Said this might be final, but considering adding PHI and UTH.

Wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to not go there... Hope he at least goes to PHI so he can make them draft him. Good news though! Thanks!

If Vonleh doesn't come in for a workout, forget about him.

Good info. Thanks.
He also had the post-combine workout in New York that was attended by many teams (Perrin was there). He'll definitely go in the 3-8 range. I think PHI and UT would be higher priorities than SAC. Utah was likely waiting to see if they had a coach in place before trying to bring him in. Phi may not have been considering him at #3 unless they've lowered their opinions of Parker an Exum or are thinking about moving back.

So good to hear you don't like Exum, either.
Perrin saw Vonleh in NY. Reason to bring him in would be to let Snyder get a good look. That would then let Quin give his input on Gordon and Vonleh.

That and to see how the altitude affects the guy.

Altitude will affect everyone that isn't currently living in a city like Salt Lake or Denver. It takes several days to acclimatize.

Not to keep pimping Gordon but Perrin specially said that AG seemed unaffected by it and was able to go just as hard at the end of the workout as at the beginning.

I see what you and Perrin are trying to imply, but it's simply not the case. I live at sea level. If I did a Jazz workout would it be the altitude that had me doubled-over in the first few minutes? No, it's the fact that I'm out of shape. I'm not saying there aren't biological differences between certain individuals in terms of red-blood cells and efficiency in carrying oxygen. But anyone is going to have their bodies start to adjust to higher altitude over the course of several days or a week, not a few hours.
