They are also looking to shave some money.

What do you guys think about this trade?

#23 and #35 for Ryan Anderson

Ryan Anderson is coming off an injury but he would give us the shooting we desperately need. He is arguably the best shooter in the game and would give a that perfect stretch 4 option. Before his injury he was scoring 20 ppg.

Stopped reading after this.

Honestly, if I could get a future unprotected 1st rounder from the Pelicans, I would trade them Kanter/23rd for Ryan Anderson and Unprotected 2015.

Draft Gordon, re-sign Hayward.

Burke
Hayward
Gordon
Anderson
Favors

Gives us enough shooting to play Gordon at SF. Potentially gives us a top pick in next year's draft (Pelicans ain't making playoffs most likely).

Nevermind doe, can't trade consecutive 1st round picks. :(

It's gunna get interesting, they were bad last year just because of injuries.

That starting lineup is pretty interesting, I'd still want to see Burks starting at the 2 and honestly it would probably be that.

Hows Anderson defensively?

Just feel like we could dominate the Pelicans in a trade after that deal they made last year.

I must be undervaluing Anderson. But the Pelicans are desperate to save money and nobody is going to take on Gordon's contract.

All I know is that they could have easily traded Anderson for Asik last year, but never did for some reason.

Hmm, if they are trying to dump some salary Anderson is really one of the only real options. No ones taking Gordon or Evans and they aren't moving Jrue.

Anderson would be perfect next to Favors.....
