It is worldwide trend thanks to immigration, not sure why you seem surprised. Every team in Europe has some immigrants or kids of immigrants playing for their new countries.
Serious question, is Benzema new Zidane?

I get that, but it irritates me nonetheless, particularly seeing as if all of the Albanian talent represented their ethnic origins, maybe their country could actually be represented at one of these friggin World Cups.

hell no. Very different players tbh. Benz can't even hold Zidane's jock right now. And I like Karim.

I'm skipping out of work half the day to see the US game. Hope they make it worthwhile. They better at least get a tie, though a win is pretty critical.
 
Just want to state how happy i am that the World Cup is taking place in a timezone that makes games watchable at regular hours of the day in the States.
