Following potential 2014 draftees

My current mock draft:

1. Cleveland - Embiid
2. Milwaukee - Parker
3. Philidelphia - Wiggins
4. Orlando - Smart
5. Utah - Exum
6. Boston - Gordon
7. LA - Vonleh
I love it and agree with it. Arguments can be made buy I believe that every team you just mentioned would feel great about their draft if it went this way.

Would it be an unrealistic offer: #5 + #23 for Sac's #8 + McLemore? Sac can get Volenh to pair up with Cousins while we can still get Gordon/Randle/Smart.
Normally, a good offer. This year, not so much. I think there is a clear top-7. If the Jazz truly don't like Smart, then their board at the top is 6 players deep: 3 who would require considerable assets to move up and get (Embiid, Wiggins and Parker) and then 3 who would be great selections at #5 or #6 (Gordon, Vonleh and Exum). Only way they trade back to #7 is IF Smart is taken by Orlando or Boston. Then they could conceivably have taken Vonleh, but trade him to Sacramento if Gordon is still on the board.

Or if Boston loves Vonleh, Jazz can trade down one spot. In that case, the fair price would be Vonleh + #23 for Gordon + #17. I would LOVE that trade!

has anyone mentioned Randle's 38.5" vertical vs. Vonleh's 37.5" (working out with lakers)?

Nope, both of those are explosive #'s for players around 250lbs though. no ones mentioned Randle's wingspan in probably a month or 2 either.

Im pretty sure those #'s are with unlimited steps beforehand too, so its not exactly like the combine.

I still maintain that Julius will be a better pro than Aaron Gordon, i hope he lands somewhere with a void at PF.

Peeks how do you feel about Cousins and Randle playing together in Sacramento?

Of course I like the idea of them playing together (that lack of D though) but would hate it having to be at SACk.

The tape shows that neither of them play like they have those numbers.

That defense would be one of the worst out there. It might work offensively if Randle can extend his range, but otherwise, both of them play predominately in the lane. Meh. Randle would be better off in LA.

The Lakers workout all produce a lot of max verts...
Makes me suspect. Maybe they wanna do the agents a favor for their next lottery trips.

I don't think Vonleh has had the chance to showcase his vert in games as he played out of position at C. And his team either couldn't or wouldn't get him the ball
