General NFL 2010 Regular Season Thread

That Eagles comeback was incredible. I've seen two amazing comebacks in such a short period of time. Millsap going Reggie Miller on the Heat and the Eagles scoring 100 touchdowns in 8 minutes.

Also, that #63 offensive linemen Connelly for the Pats almost taking that kickout to the house was probably the play of the decade for me. I loved how he carried the ball like a loaf of bread. It's a shame he couldn't have gone 3 yards further and broken into the endzone.

This. I was screaming at the TV trying to will that guy into the endzone. Pure awesomeness.

after a sweet win last week against the Jets, it appears that the hopes of a playoff run are over for my Dolphins...

Marshall after the game "I want to apologize to the defensive guys, especially the players,” Marshall said at the start of his postgame press conference. “All year they played their hearts out, they played together and they played like a unit’s supposed to play. … Offensively, all year we didn’t get the job done and we didn’t make enough plays. “Today we didn’t make enough plays. Today we didn’t get the job done and it’s embarrassing. It’s just a shame because if you have a defense like that you don’t have to be great as an offense. You just have to be okay and we haven’t been that all year.”

Henne needed to say that I can't think of many games he hasn't at least thrown 1 INT and most had multiple but really this apology needed to come from the OC Henning, who hopefully within 2 games will get his walkin' papers.

Wow, what a game for Philly. I know the consensus is that Brady will win the MVP going away, but for my two cents I would give it to Vick after that game (also because I despise Brady just slightly less then the Packers). He willed the team to a W against a tough conference opponent in a game with playoff implications. As for Jackson, stop ****ing around at the goal line and just go into the damn end-zone, then do your dance your heart out.

I'm not sayin...I'm just sayin

One more thing...is anyone else getting a little tired of the over-the-top calling of helmet-to-helmet personal fouls. There is a time and a place for that call sure (Meriweather on Heap), but in the hit Mccourty put on James Jones (I believe?) last night he did everything he could to make it a good solid hit, including leading with his arms. This is football and helmet-to-helmets are going to happen, but calling every helmet-to-helmet hit a penalty, including the incidental ones is way too much. Hochuli is one of my favorite refs so I would hope/suspect it had something to do with Goodell being in attendance.

Giants loss shouldn't be too bad considering they'll most likely get a rematch on wild-card weekend. Two very close games, Giants will win in Philly wild card Saturday night.

Chil' please. The Bears will lose tonight which puts the Eagles in the driver's seat for the #2 seed and a bye, especially considering their last two are at home.

You probably could have won some bets by saying Favre's last game would be at the Univ. of Minnesota's field.

I hate Cutler, but damn the Bears look silky smooth at times. Oh, and that KEK calls NFL games like Tom Cruise's unborn placenta.

When Favre threw that TD to put them up 7-0 and he started hopping around like a teenager, I felt there's no way he could lose. Favre. MNF. His last hurrah.

Then reality set in.

**** him.

This. There is nothing worse then watching the game with an Iggys full of Bears fans. At least it wasn't the Packers...and thank you T-Jax for not only taking yourself out of the next game, but for taking out the best running back in the NFC as well. For the love of all that is holy can I get a signed Kevin Kolb up in the Twin Cities please, or failing that, good Defensive Back would be nice.

Cutler must have one hell of a cannon as he has the worst footwork I have ever seen. Every throw appears to be while back-peddaling.

Wow I'm shocked. I actually get to watch the 49ers game tomorrow without looking for a crappy internet stream. This is one of the very few times this season I get regional FOX coverage of a 49ers game in Utah.

I hate the Jets but love seeing them playing well in this Bears game. A NY win would mean the Eagles control their own destiny for the #2 seed.

Looks like the 49ers are about to lose, and will officially be eliminated from the playoff race. Time to fire Singletary NOW!! He better be fired by tomorrow morning. He was stupid to start Troy Smith over Alex Smith today. Just one of his many mistakes this season. The guy is clueless as a head coach.

Who could they get though?
