Following potential 2014 draftees

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWaeGbPv0t0

this is Zach Lavine's workout... don't have much of an opinion on the guy... but this is why you don't judge based on workout vids. He looks like a superstar in this workout.

let hayward bounce, draft lavine and wiggins

I think they should get Josh Smith from detroit. Detroit is trying to get rid of him anyway, smith and favors would make a great front court. take gordon with #5, and trade the others picks to get zach lavine

Tweener Guards:
Smart
Exum

Tweener Forwards:
Parker
Gordon
Randle (but not really)
McDermott
Warren
Saric
Anderson
Early

take randle off that list imo.

also i have heard from others that anderson and warren are small forwards. and that early has a clear position (cant remember which)

also i think there is a difference between "tweeners" and guys who are versatile and can play multiple positions.

i think anderson and early fall into the category of players who have a true position but can be moved around.

i agree that smart, gordon, and parker are tweeners, albeit good ones

Yeah Randle on there was kind of a joke. Maybe you're right. Maybe this draft just has a bunch of huge, versatile wings.

mmm, really i think you are right. there are lots of tweeners but i think that is kind of the way the nba is headed so its actually a good thing.

more stretch fours, point forwards, and combo guards in the nba now than ever before so tweeners might be what we want

true but that video shows a much quicker release than i knew of.

Very impressive jumpshot (not talking about the shots going in, he is in an empty gym afterall, but his form and quick release are awesome)

I was impressed too, but the vid is a little bit sped up.

Just looks a little bit special effects'ish to my eyes. Very slight, but it def is.

maybe we could make and release a slowed down version of the vid so that other teams will think his release is too slow and he will fall to 5.

but then it would make his hangtime look like the best eva and he would still go #1.

I'm starting to sell myself on Randle a little. I'm happy with any of the bunch - Randle, Vonleh, Gordon - if we stay at 5.

Saw a tweet that Vonleh thinks he's a small forward... thats a problem for me. Gordon is at least smart enough to say he's a versatile forward... made sure not to say small or power forward. I like people with self awareness.

I read about some 7 footer from a small school. DI I think. It was a team who lost somewhere in the NIT. In any case, they have a semi-legit 7 footer. He had 40 points in a game this year and the coach raved about how he scores so effortlessly.

Has had workouts with 12 teams I think. Somewhere (one of the workouts?), he shot something like 77% on threes and 85% on 18 footers...or something like that...sounded very intriguing.
