Bye bye gordo

"The offer from the Cavs is believed to be a max deal, which for Hayward would be a four-year, $63 million deal with a first year salary of $14.8 million. That would be a substantial raise from the $3.5 million Hayward earned last season (although Hayward was still on his rookie deal)."

Do you have a link that says Cleveland has actually put the offer on the table? Or are you referring to the rumors that the Cavs are "preparing an offer sheet?"

Nice use of passive voice. Believed by whom? I still don't believe it.

Told by Cavs source details reported about meeting with Jazz free agent Gordon Hayward have been "greatly exaggerated."

So it's rumored to be prepared and presented to Hayward, but nothing official yet. Don't we already have this in like 3 other threads?

Even if it is a max deal, Jazz Match or counter offer with a five year arrangement that is less per year. Gordon is here to stay. Watch Locke's tipoff today for an explanation. It actually makes a lot of sense.
