I think Bennett is going to be a really good player. Probably an all star actually.

So much was made out him having the shooting slump right from the start. People just gave up right then. Completely ignoring all the good things about his game. Funny thing is, he is going to be a good shooter. He has range even deep. He's very athletic despite people accusing him of being out of shape.

He looked very good in the limited minutes he got last year. Don't be surprised when he breaks out.
 
I had Anthony Bennett rated in the top 5, there's alot to like about his talent and hes only 21.

I know he can shoot. I watched a few games of his in HS and remember he was automatic from mid-range. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get it together. He does need to get in better game shape though, there's no doubt about that.
 
Cavs do have a Canadian connection set up now.
Maybe Wiggins coming in will motivate Bennett and Thompson to better things.
How far a drive is it from Canada to Cleveland?

I just don't see how you show up for your rookie season in the NBA out of shape. You have worked your WHOLE LIFE for this! Now times that by 1000 for being the #1 pick. A lot of players would have held a grudge and went out to try to prove something. Anthony Bennett thought it would be chill to spend the summer finally passing the final level of Call of Duty. That type of disinterest is hard to fix, especially when you just deposited a few million in his bank account. . .
