Okafor is more ready and hes going to eat up the ACC this season. He also plays Towns well 1v1. the thing that keeps Okafor at or near the top spot is hes still improving, and hes gotten into much better shape.

But Towns has a 9'5" standing reach and might still be growing, he shows handle and passing ability, hes also a deadly catch and shoot guy, I think it will come down to team philosophies.

If were talking about the Jazz, Ill take Towns, hes a better fit next to Favors imo.

Nice analysis. I agree that Towns is a better fit so maybe that is blinding me a little bit. On the bright side though if we end up at 2 or 3 which is highly highly doubtful, a team could take Okafor and Mudiay ahead of the Jazz leaving them Towns.

Also, Towns is sexier because he has ALL the skillsets... having said that, Okafor is EXTREMELY polished and will be an offensive MONSTER.. all the post moves and still inventing.

I'll be surprised if Towns goes before 3. Partially because of the class competition, but also because he needs to add strength, get in better shape, and he will be sharing minutes with an INSANELY loaded front line.

That is good though considering I think the Jazz will be around 7-9.

Reportedly, Towns is filling it up in pick up games and shootarounds. I've heard some crazy stuff about his shot that I won't share because I'm not a homer. Right?

Okafor being more polished (Jabari) and Towns having all the moves and potential (Wiggins).
 
Btw, I'll be surprised if Towns averages more than 19 minutes per game this season.

(unless there's an injury)
