Well seeing as we went with Exum and Hood, ive gotta believe if were in the top 10 again its probably due to an injury, the pick will be a Big.
I like the idea of adding Karl Towns to this mix, and eventually moving Favors back to PF.

If the Jazz have a good season and barely miss the playoffs/lottery. This is a player that I've 'targeted' early in the process. Marc Garcia is VERY interesting to me, hes skinny and young but has an almost 7' wingspan, He's a sniper with top-shelf BBIQ for a '96 born player, he appears to have great hands/anticipation getting steals. His hotspots are the corners which NBA teams love.

Strengths:

Yeah, the CBA is actually pretty decent in the post too. Weak *** league defensively overall though. I mean, he is a 7 footer and he doesn't even look that tall in these videos. They got some height that can move around in the CBA. He would murder college basketball. I've never heard that age thing though, so that's interesting if true. I'll have look into that a bit. I still can't figure why the Chinese pipeline has seemingly dried up. They have more 7 footers than any other country in the world. They have a stockpile of lightning quick guards. But the post YAO getting drafted Chinese NBA invasion has just not happened like most people were expecting.

He just turned 17 before that tournament(Which is a Junior tournament). Marc Garcia plays professionally for FC Barcalona's B team, like Mario Hezonja did 2 seasons ago.
I havent checked out his DX profile in a while Givony's last update says hes short-armed, I know ive read otherwise from some Euroscouting website, or an article about this NJIT tournament. (I'm sure Givony is right though)
Its funny DX says hes like a European Stauskas, I actually think hes gonna be better than Nik.

Based on what I just read and that mix-tape, I don't see it. The kid looked skilled and crafty but that was against slow, white kids who looked no bigger than 6'4".
The Chinese kid btw is probably also projected a bit lower than you feel he should because his height is bigger than his wingspan.

He played 24 mpg in a professional league this year, put on some good weight and averaged 11points in those minutes, born in March of 1996.
Mirotic won the MVP of that tournament in '09, Hezonja the year before Garcia, im sure theres plenty of other NBA players from there. Marc Garcia won the MVP and his team went 1-2. (think he made a good impression?)
His statline in the 1 win was
35 mins, 40 points, 11-20 shooting (7-9 from 3) 11-13 ft's 7 rebs, 3 steals, 2 blocks, 3 assists.
Thats a recent pic, does he look 20 or 23 to you?
My friends an expert on the region and thinks because hes from Fujian that its more likely his age has been changed.

I never disputed your questioning of Wang's age. But since you asked, the kid does look 20 to me.
Also, FWIW, I think Yao left a lot of us hopeful. Probably unfairly so. One of the key differences between Yao and this kid though that I noticed was their strength in the post. This kid isn't weak but Yao was a sequoia down there.

If the Jazz were to miss the playoffs and the lottery, Illimane Diop is particularly interesting to me, I'm high on him, I think hes close to WCS. #17 on Dx's mock currently.

His arms are as long as Rudy's, he looks like he will put some solid weight on and could be a force, the kicker is this kid can hit a mid range jumper already, hes a solid FT shooter too, 68% last year in the ACB which is top-flight competition.

Let me be the first to say, The 2015 2nd rounder should be Dwayne Polee Jr.
He turns 23 in January, i dont usually like old players but heres why;
Polee Jr. is 6'7 with a 7' wingspan, he can jump out of the gym. There's not much footage on him from college. he was a St. Johns recruit then xfered to San Diego St.
Last year he shot 38% from 3(40% as a soph.) on 2.8 attempts per, in only 18 mpg(1 steal, ½ a block too), his 3 point shot looks pretty sound for a player with his athleticism. He will have an increased role this year, This video is 4 years old but it give you an idea of the athletecism, Im pretty sure his wingspan has increased about 4-5 inches since this clip.

He's a tough one for me to read. I could see him being fantastic in the lead or a complete dud... and I actually don't say that often.

I think he will clearly be Wisconsin's best player this year, I like the way his dropstep looks, he can handle the ball some I bet he will impress during workouts, his shooting looks legit too. Teams will probably see him as a PF which should increase his value safely into the lottery.
