Following potential 2015 draftees

I LOVE Stanley Johnson, but I am not quite sold on his NBA game quite yet to take him #3. I hear ya, though.. that defense and intangibles makes you pull for the kid.. as if he needs it.

I have a hard time distingushing between the top 6 or 8 prospects in this draft.

Jahlil and Mudiay are tops of the class but then 3-8 I dont have all that much conviction.

If Okafor and Mudiay got 1 and 2, who do you take on the Jazz 3rd?

It's between Towns, Alexander, and Johnson, as of right now.

Johnson is the safe pick.
Alexander will KILL it this year, but I'm a bit worried about his size for the NBA.
Towns has the most upside, imo.

So, if I had to pick right this moment, I'd go Towns. Also, the team doc swears he's going to grow at least another inch this season.. and it's something they've been predicting for years and he has a stellar track record. Doc says Towns could easily push legit 7'2 by the time he's done. (and that's not something that's said every year or anything like that)

Don't sleep on Myles Turner, Texas produces studs out of top recruits (Durant, Aldridge). Won't get very far in the tourney though.

Turner has upside, yes.. but he's soft and will play for a ****ty *** coach.
Barnes does TERRIBLE with top talent.. he's gotten some great talent and he's done little with it.. including developing it.

Don't see a reason to pick Mudiay if the Jazz had the opportunity considering they have Exum, Burke, and Burks or is Mudiay that good where you take him regardless?

In regard to Oubre, (3-13) from field and (0-5) from three in McD's game. Just one game yes, but that's horrible for that kind of game with soft defense.

I'll see, but watched the McDonalds game and he just played horrible.

The thing is Oubre played with Justin Jackson and Justise Winslow on his AAU team, both of those guys were 5 star players, and Oubre was ranked 4 star or in the 100's and made a giant move up the rankings. Its not like he earned his ranking by being a lefty whos bigger and more athletic, he made that move with his play on the court.
