Layoff Advice

Dick is right, dude. There are literally dozens of grammatical errors on that page. Email it to me and I'll go through it and underline or highlight all the crap that looks weird.

You can't brag about winning essays and having a college degree when your resume looks like it was thrown together by a fourth grader. Just my two cents, of course.

I've been wondering what the heck people are talking about, but I think I've figured it out. I filled out my LinkedIn profile yesterday quickly and later spent a lot of time tweaking, editing and changing it. The LinkedIn link that is posted is not the one that's currently on my profile. Does it take time for changes to become approved and made pubic?

OK. This is complete bull **** and I just showed my brother. Yesterday, I filled out and completed my profile quickly. After each thing I filled out, I saved and moved on to the next field to fill out. After I completed pretty much everything, I went back and made changes, simplified a few things, and cleaned it up. I personally write and edit better that way. The problem is, LinkedIn is not displaying changes unless I'm logged in. This blows. I have a hyperlink of my LinkedIn on my resume I've submitted a bunch of times last night and today.

It was suggested by someone to post my resume on here. I was hesitant (I don't really know why) for I have nothing to lose. I've recently updated my linkedin profile. Any leads, suggestions, etc, please let me have/hear it.

Thanks!

I've been reading online about this issue and apparently I'm not the only one having problems or difficulty trouble shooting. Basically, my profile is able to make changes and edits, but my public profile will not reflect the changes or update. I'm hoping this is one of those things that will just take a couple of days to update. If you want to see the changes I've made from my public profile, scroll to the bottom of it and click on see full profile. There you will see it's different, hopefully for the better. If you have any suggestions on how to fix this, or suggestions for my profile, please let me know. I'm glad you guys said something cause at first I thought you were just being dicks to be dicks... haha

Thanks again!

I figured. Good priorities. I can't help you there in Utah. Good Luck.

We're you going to let him pimp a few of the solid 10 hunny-dips that you be bangin' 24/7, or did you have something regarding academia in mind? Either way, I bet he's bummed that you can't lend your helping hand.

I think he's probably more into your soft, lily-white hands. Will you be helping with your right or your left? I'm sure you guys worked this out when he had you pinned to the floor. "Grappling," I think you guys call it.

epitome of a jackass-lazy response. Thanks for (not) playing.

The only thing that could have trumped your sick-*** grappling burn would have been a mom insult. If I'm Bo Jackson, I'm probably not going to waste my time playing in a beer league slow pitch softball game. I'm Elvis Junior, and I refuse to engage in a back-and-forth with a mentally handicapped dullard like you. Figure out a way to ditch those extra chromosomes and then let's talk.

so making fun of people with down's syndrome is a huge upgrade over grappling jokes and mom jokes?

OK.

Sorry I didn't see the total ingenuity in your approach to comedy.

Even for being an academic failure, you're pretty thick. I didn't say anything about Down's. People with Down's have an extra chromosome; I clearly stated that you have multiple extras.

Like I was saying about getting into it with half-wits... It really is a lose/lose.

I don't know how it's possible to "archie" an already Archie made thread, but ^^^ that dimwit did it.

Thanks, Trout. Moran.
