Obviously Exum and Hood are going to be with us for several years. I know that as Jazz fans we are hoping that they will develop to be potential stars. Assuming that they will develop to be elite NBA players, it would be wise to take immediate action in developing a roster with some talent that can go into the NBA and turn heads from day one of the regular season. Chances of us having a team that can do that with our current roster are slim. We have cap space, and the off-season is a perfect time to wheel and deal before the players you are going for get into a rhythm with the current team they are on. Trades in the middle of the year are hard on players because they are forced into a system that they are unfamiliar with, leading to lack of confidence, leading to low productivity.
We missed our opportunities already for not going after high quality free agents, but it isn't to late. Lets welcome Exum and Hood into a team that has the roster to produce wins and make them feel good about being here in the future. The results of next year are always based off decisions that we make today, so lets make some decisions other that overpaying Hayward.

Exum and hood are not going to be any good this season.
Wait to make these moves you speak of for a few seasons from now

Who/what are you suggesting?

I agree, let's totally overreact to three summer league games. Who needs DL's long term plan of not skipping steps. Let's completely throw the book out and over pay for vets, forget the youth movement.

Can you at least capitalize every word to make this remotely amusing?
