It seems that his total weight gets heavier every year, and it is muscle. So even if he does lose weight during the season he is still bigger and stronger.

Hayward makes the 1st cut...Whats that say

Tells me *all around basketball skillz* have value , Even if Hayward scores 20 ppg this year,that's not going to be his best value he brings to the Jazz,it will be his all around skillz ,the total game .

For those of us who worked out in college, didn't we all get bigger each year? Most of my HS growth was getting taller. Once that stopped, I was able to fill out a bit during college and then for a few years after. Gordon is basically just a couple of years past the age at which most graduate from college.

Seems like some "fans" are hoping he fails, merely to justify their hatred of his contract.

Just because some fans don't think he is worth the max doesn't mean we want him to fail nor does it make us less fans. I swear some Jazz fans are big babies when it comes to how they take offense when pointing out the obvious on certain players. Hayward hasn't earn his max nor is he worth it but I hope he plays well enough to earn it.

Fair enough but can we stop the crying over his max already (generally speaking and not you specifically). He has it and that isn't changing. He is on the Jazz this season and short of a big trade that isn't changing either.
