Well, Roy scored 52 over Suns so that is not everyday's work.

As for Horry, aside from his clutchness, he has more rings than MJ. But it's more like being in the right place at the right time. I don't think he is All Time NBA Best material.
 
Penny was great. He is considerably oversized. Fabtrey or some other poster posted his height comparisons before. Penny was my second favorite guard in the years Magic had Shaq.

Should we now do one game at a time, giving the board 24 hours to vote on it? So maybe early tomorrow (it seems board members are sort of inactive on Sundays), I can start a thread about me vs. spy. The first post in the thread will have each of our rosters. The second and third posts can each be our sales pitch to the board. Cool? Then, Tuesday, we do the next game...and so forth...Or maybe give two days to vote on each game. God knows we have enough time.

Let me know. There could be a much better way that I'm likely not thinking of.

Maybe two matches per day? So me vs you + WC vs Jeff on the first day, then the next two matches, and...you get the idea.

Do you think one day is enough time for people to vote? We could list it from today til early afternoon Tuesday maybe? Then the next two games from mid day Tuesday to early Thursday...then the last two games...

In the past I've only had the voting go on for 24 hours for each match and it's been fine, but it could be interesting to do it for 48 hours and I kinda wanna try it. If we do 48 hours, we should definitely do two series at a time (maybe three?), though.

If 48 hours seems too long after experimenting with it, then we can change it to 24 hours in the 2nd round.

Thinking the same thing.

I think we should first give each team from now til noon tomorrow to send me their sales pitch, that is their write-up for their team. Then, once we start the three threads with polls for the first three games, I can simply post those write-ups where they belong, along with team rosters.

This sounds good to me. Three series' at a time with the polls open for 48 hours.

The 2nd round can then start immediately after the first round is over since people will know who they're facing days in advanced and will thus have had time to do another write-up, if they'd like.
 
This is what I'm thinking...

EVERYONE NEEDS TO SEND ME A PM WITH THEIR WRITE-UP FOR THEIR TEAM (THIS IS THE SALES PITCH TO THE BOARD WHO WILL BE VOTING) BY 12PM EST TOMORROW.

At 12pm EST tomorrow, I will then immediately start three separate game threads for the three match-ups.

Jeffrey32 vs. White Chocolate
heyhey vs. jazzyapma

Voting for those three match-ups will be open from then to 12pm EST on Wednesday. That's 48 hours.

At this same time on Wednesday, I will then start the next three game threads for:

HottKnickkk vs. addictionary
JoelHodgeJr vs. Hack
Thee Jazz Fan vs. Ellis 269

The voting for those will be open for 48 hours til 12pm EST on Friday.
