What's new

2014 College Football

The water cooler consensus is 40-14 with some UH fans.
Byu is favored by 14 from what I saw in the newspaper

Show me where Hill has been a better QB. Please. Do. And a 78% completion to your RB's...eh. Not impressed.

1300 yards rushing 300 yards rushing. TW was marginally better throwing the ball last year, but Hill blows him out of the water as a running threat.

I haven't seen enough of Wilson to comment on him-- hard to get the PAC12 network in Houston.

Here a few observations on Hill:
He is a great running back. He has breakaway speed. Enough agility and mobility to get to the right holes and enough power to bowl people over.

On his passing, this season his vision is much improved. He is seeing his options quickly and taking the highest percentage one. Last year he zeroed in on Hoffman and threw him the ball no matter what the coverage was. I think that the was source of longer throws and more incompletions/interceptions.

In the 2nd half against texas Hill zeroed in on Leslie, the UTEP transfer. I am curious if that will continue.

The last factor in his changes is that our O-Line has played much, much better so far this year. The talent was so bad last year we are starting two true freshman at center and left tackle--the two most important positions on the line.

I agree with everything you said. He is still no Wilson. Hill is the better runner. Wilson is the better QB.

Lol. Wilson was a significantly better passer vs BCS teams. I don't care what you did vs weak opponents. Also, vs BCS teams and healthy, both had 6 rushing TD's....even though Hill played in two more games.

Not an impressive win.

Byu should have crushed Houston. It looked like it was going to be an epic beat down. But then they stopped playing a few mins before the half.
