Following potential 2015 draftees

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Favors and Hayward are going into their 5th years, Burks and Kanter are going into their 4th... If the Jazz aren't challenging for the 8th seed by the 2nd half of the season, then this rebuild isn't working.

Draftexpress released the preseason scouting report on Karl Towns:

I'm still not impressed! A lot of people here mention him being able to stretch the floor and that being a better fit next to Favors/Gobert, but he doesn't seem great at that... he's barely OK shooter. If we had the choice between Towns and Okafor, I'd still pick Okafor, much more skilled around the rim. I think he's a rare talent from what I've seen of him.

Johnson looks like he's patterned his game a bit after TMac....except he plays defense and rebounds.

Pretty sure T-Mac was always a pretty good defender up until the injuries. Pretty sure he was even considered an elite defensive player early in his career.

And he averaged 7.9 rebounds in one season for the Magic. Also pretty sure he probably got a lot of rebounds wherever he played HS basketball at.

I get we as Jazz fans have to hate T-Mac, but don't be dumb.

Aleksandar Vezenkov was just voted MVP in the "Nikos Galis" friendly mini-tournament in Greece, after he lead Aris to the tournament win with 25pt performance vs Turkish Banvit(66:48) and 12pt effort vs CSKA(Moscow) (60:59) in the final. Again, I'd hate to repeat myself but his numbers are awesome for a 19 year old against top European competition. He's been scoring pretty much at will against every competition he's faced so far. I really wish he had a little better athleticism, he would have been a lottery level pick if he had even average athleticism... It's going to be interesting to see what his numbers this year will be in the Greek league.

Srs.. all bb junkies and pedos take notice. Dakari has dropped srs weight and bulked.

His passing is what I think could separate him more than any other attribute.

Have you seen him close up yet? Is he a 4 or a 5 in the NBA?

Tyler Hawsbaginovic from Bosnia-Herzegovina looks intriguing:

He probably wouldn't be in the top 10 scorers in the country for 3 straight years or anything crazy lif he came and played college ball in America or anything like that, but he looks like he has a unique mid-range game.

First I was like: WTF.

Then I realized BYU temple command is in charge again.

I want

Stanley Johnson - he has the "it"
kevon looney - love his length and intangibles
Kelly obre - pure scorer we miss

in that order right now. (could change depending how the season plays out and how people play)

Good list.. but Oubre way ahead of Looney for me.
