Which Jazz player has the most to prove this season?

There are plenty of valid options...

Gordon Hayward - earn ya paycheck son
Trey Burke - can you be our floor general of the future?
Derrick Favors - will you show the ability to be a 20/10 guy who defends, or 15/8 and inconsistent?
Alec Burks - can you be a legitimate 20 point scorer, and our go-to guy? or just provide a scoring punch as 6th man?
Enes Kanter - are you a legit starting center in this league? or do you still play like your 3 years away?

I think my answer is Trey Burke because if he can't show improvement, I will be concerned because a game-changing PG is a necessity for a championship-contending squad.

What do you guys think?

Kanter. Favors has at least proven to be a pretty solid defender. Not sure what Kanter excels at yet.

No clue how you can say this. I would argue he isn't even a PG. Regardless, he's got a chance to be an excellent player but lets let him play some games first before placing expectations on him.

Exum is only a point guard right now. I'd take him right now over Burke for our championship contending squad.

Probably Gordon cos he got paid the most.

But I think he'll really thrive in Quin's system as he is most comfortable in the open court where he can finish and make plays. Look for him to add 2 assists and 4 points to last year's average.

Hayward and kanter

Hayward and kanter

Agree. Hayward because of the max $ and Kanter because he's fighting for a starting job and a big contract.

I'd include Burke, but Exum isn't ready to push for major minutes. He's likely a couple years away from starting. So Trey likely gets this season and next to show his value.

Almost everyone has to prove something, but I need something from burks. All the physical tools are there, just the desire to play both sides of the ball holds him back. Contract year, let's see how he handles it

Hayward most definitely. He's the one getting paid the big money and will be vilified if he doesn't come close to living up to his contract.

hayward by a mile.

Trey and Kanter next

Burks we have expectations and I believe he will be huge for us this season.

I'm excited to see if Quin can turn Burks into a starting calibre SG. Corbin's system was just so unfriendly to the way he plays.

I'd say Hayward and Trey. Hayward for obvious reasons, he's the modern day Jon Koncak. Trey because we just drafted another PG.

If Gordon is averaging 20/7/5 on better %s he'd be an all star. I don't see it happening

Agree. GH might play better but he won't have better numbers. Q's system will lower individual stats. Hopefully the % will be better.
