How do you propose married couples deal with divorce, child custody, inheritance, assets, and the myriad of other legal issues federal marriage laws manage?
With themselves and mediators. Privately on a case by case basis.

Private security firms!
Would probably be part of the agreement ya know.
So when my private security firm tries to enforce the decision but my ex spouses private security firm resists...?
Which firm is enforcing would probably be part of the agreement doe, that would be the logical decision.
LazyD, I'm a libertarian. I'm all for untangling the government from much of these issues. But I'm not an anarchist. The government needs to be the sole law enforcement authority. That's one of the most important ways in which humans can enjoy their individual rights without being subject to the laws of the jungle.
Tbh, I agree with you completely. I wasn't clear enough in what I said earlier. I simply meant that I don't care for there being any additional incentives to being married besides love and happiness. I'm perfectly fine with disputes being resolved in the judicial setting and being enforced by the government. However, I certainly enjoy playing the renegade, it makes for lively debate. I still realize that the government would have to enforce the law against private security firms and then the people would ultimately check the law enforcers. Luckily, I understand your pov, cuz I don't really see where you deemed my hypothetical scenario illogical. Ya kinda just told me that it can't be because that's the way things have to be (?). The private firm is not enforcing the law in my scenario. The government would still enforce the law. Perhaps this can be an ongoing discussion point!
But yeah, that's not what I really meant when posting originally. Sorry for the confusion. Glad babypeter could get a laugh out of it at least.

inheretance is something that is traditionally for the kids(in some countries oldest son), SAME WITH ASSETS
face it marriage is for fcreation of family via procreation
In that scenario a private security firm would be enforcing a contractual agreement. The government would still enforce the law.
