For the Jazz there is no such thing as the starters playing too much in the preseason. That's the kind of talk reserved for teams like the Spurs. For the Jazz, we need to develop our team identity and establish our team culture every chance we get.

The fact that Quin knows he needs to play his starting squad as much as possible before the season starts, and that he's not looking to develop this team from the fringe inward..well it tells me he's not Ty Corbin. That's for damn sure.

Every hear, we hear buzz about how teams assure training camp fodder that they will get some playing time to up their visibility. The Jazz have not been following that pattern this year. I wonder if they offered something else instead?

I agree with you (surprise surprise). I am thrilled that Q is already fine tunning his regular season rotation. Most of the others were signed for D League anyways.

I have seen only highlights, but it sure sounds like QS has us on the right path. It sounds like individual play is generally up but it will take awhile for the team play to get there.

One thing we need to keep in mind also is that the other teams have not adjusted yet to anything new the Jazz are doing. That will start later especially if we have success. And that will be where the rubber meets the road: can QS and the Jazz adjust to the adjustments?

Ya you are right, it didn't make sense.

I mean all of our guys are shooting well, the scoring is balanced, the team is playing unselfishly, and we are undefeated so far after two games against a team that went to the 2nd round of the playoffs = poor team play.
We need to makes changes to what we are doing asap

We need to fix this before it's too late
