Top movies of 2010

Just saw True Grit yesterday. I would have to slide it into my top movies of the year somehow. Very much worth the accolades it has received.

In no particular order:
The Social Network
Inception
True Grit
The Town
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
(Stupid Humor)
Easy A
Kick ***
The Other Guys

I watched the Kids are alright tonight. It was entertaining and I enjoyed most of it, (it dragged a lot towards the end) but by no means should this movie be considered a top ten movie.

Gladiator, Walk the Line, the guy is unbelievably talented, one of my favorites. Let's just say I saw the film and can't help but think a certain, even large part of that, wasn't acting or him being in character at all.

When I was walking out I was seriously entertaining the possibility that he actually had a breakdown and everyone was now claiming it was a hoax to cover for him so it didn't do too much damage to his career.

All kidding aside, I wouldn't even have needed the narrator to essentially admit he was always a momma's boy. It's obvious based on how whiny he is about his dad's quick re-marriage.

<now awaiting some obvious "bombshell" that dad was fornicating with his secretary decades prior and that perhaps he's not even their biological dad, thus explaining the man's aloof ways>

Has anyone seen this? Ebert said it was "Oscar worthy"
