What's new

The Walking Dead

I thought season three was the worst one, mostly because the Governor was a stupid character. I actually quite liked season four in general, and so I'm definitely looking forward to finding out what they do with season five. I'm particularly looking forward to more Carol, as I think she had the strongest and most interesting arc of any character last season.

Yeah the governor did suck. Most of it was due to a poor casting decision. The dudes with the truck that they introduced last season were just as ****in dumb as the governor. Season 3 sucked and season 4 sucked. I kept hoping they were going to turn it around in season 3. Season 4 was a complete snoozefest with little character development.

Carol, c'mon, grasping at straws.

Prediction for season 5: John Leguizamo

Prediction for season 6: Cancelled

Different strokes. I thought season four was as good as any of the previous seasons. Although I admit the new guys with the truck are stupid.

And the Governor being a crappy character may have been partially due to casting, but any character that bad has to be attributed more to bad writing. No actor can save a character that wasn't written believably to begin with.

I don't remember a guy with a truck in different strokes.

1st season was pretty good.

The show's still good. But needs more episodes per season alongside much much more plot twisting action.

Welp, watched one whole episode of Rick and Morty. Pretty sure I am a lot dumber now than before. One of the very few times in my life I truly mourned the 1/2 hour I will just never get back.

Sucks to be old and intelligent.

Fixed that for you.

I don't watch My Little Pony anymore either, or He-Man, or whatever else may constitute entertainment for people with the mentality of a child.

To each his own bro.

That bad huh?

I think I will just give the pilot a chance and give one to the second episode since the first one is pilot and every show deserves a second chance.

Sure if the lobotomy didn't work the first time, give it a second chance!

Fun season premiere last night. Carol had become my favorite character after last season, which made watching her go into mega-badass mode in this episode all the more enjoyable for me.

And for those of you saying the show has been getting worse, I had said earlier that I thought season four was the best of them of all, and at least one critic agrees with me:

I've tended to get hyperbolic about good episodes of The Walking Dead; I think I was so used to the show's crappiness in seasons 1-3 that when Scott Gimple took over as showrunner in season 4, I was so pleasantly surprised by the meteoric rise in quality that I tended to gush.
